1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    setup at the end of the vid. I used a setup downloaded from the setup market. Most of the tunes looked almost identical. I ended up dropping a lot of the aero and lengthening the gearing, fixing psi, and fuel levels. Imola has never been a track that I have been particularly good at but the downforce is kinda addictive. It's just that my brain can't cope with the speed lol. I had another try today but I couldn't get near my ghost...

    Big action on Thursday!


    @Lewisxbone , despite a serious challenge, reigns supreme!
    @Pretend racer drops in with an 18.2, re-arranges the top of the leaderboard and shuffles @LeiF down a step.
    But, “way to go,” @moodyryder , bangs in a monster 1.18.7, relegates @mike reynolds ‘s excellent time into fifth and creates a distance-from-podium-nightmare for @DriverModFTW ! However, his ability to improve is up there with Mr L Bone, I see change ahead!
    @Alexis_RS_MKII slices his way into the 1.20’s, uncomfortably faster than Totall Wrytoff on his first attempt and @Laughing Gravy eclipses his nemesis to drop in uncomfortably close behind!
    @StyleF1re and @Chaos_Chris are dialling in, it’s amazing how, with another bit of effort, one suddenly finds a second!

    OK lap, lost a tenth on first sector in this lap. Gained time in the third sector, but still not clean/tidy. If I could just clean a lap up, my time would be pretty good based on my first and second sector splits and if I stopped throwing away at least 3 tenths in last sector! Frustrating to really nail a lap here..well, frustrating for me cause its in one of the fastest/quickest/best handling vehicles in the sim. Margin for error is ZERO to get a good lap here. A good setup helps tremendously. I did the same setup at Pretend, however I made a few tweaks to suit my driving style. I changed gearing, fuel load, aero, traction control, alignment, and diff settings.

    Funnily enough I've just been firing it up.
    Half-way through lap 2 I was thinking "holy cow I've become a total racing God cos I haven't managed to spin it yet despite the lack of TC".
    The smug feeling didn't last long... I looked down and saw the HUD, and realised that the funny sound I'd been hearing as I floored it out of the slow corners wasn't the rumble strip :D
    At least I was able to be more brutal on the throttle after that... :rolleyes:
