1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

A 1st place in The Long and a 3rd place in The Short sends a motivated @Pretend racer right to the top of the board.
    Beep, beep everyone!
    Will that be enough though...?
Despite being muscled off podiums, it's great to see @Fab85 back. A real revival! First sighted in WHC10 (or WHC11,) he finished 24th compared to Pretend racer's 32nd and in WHC 15, 12th place to my 40th place. But by October 2017, WHC51, he was up to 5th, just behind Pretend racer and @F1415182235 . That was only three years ago.
Good one and congrats again on taking down the challenge!

There are now five, "Sub 5."

With less than 24hrs to nail it, who else accepts the challenge?

Bit of a late start this week (act surprised! :p). This one was a lot of fun - much better than I expected. Max neg camber and toe on front, reduced rear camber a little and some neg toe as well in the hope of getting it to turn a little better.

Omfg, so many corners to remember... it feels like a long time since I drove this track, even though many bits are like the drift variant. I got stuck on 4:04 and after literally dozens of restarts for mistakes and minor setup tweaks, I was on the point of giving up when a lap came good and I pulled out another 2 seconds. o_O
This car sounds nice, and it's bloody quick. Not convinced I got the handling quite right though.

That is the long and the short of it.

    And @Mustang 500 wins!
He was the first Sub 5 of the week, he was overtaken but he has burnished his effort to a shiny gold! He lands a 3.59.6 around the Highlands, a one second improvement, to climb onto the top step. Great work over the week - 2nd and 1st in the qualifiers makes him a worthy winner.
But considering two tracks and nearly five minutes of driving, the gap to 2nd place is ridiculously close!
@Pretend racer was on it this week! Thanks to an initial technical infringement, he goes under four mins around the Highlands but ends just 7/10ths off. Another, great performance for Pretend racer!
Third place is snatched from @Fab85 with only a couple of hours to run! @Neilski , better late than never, Sub 5's it! His prowess with a front wheeler shows with a 3rd at Brands and that 2/10ths is enough to rob @Fab85 of a return podium. Welcome back Fab85, hoping you enjoyed the competition!
The battle for 3rd Place around the Highlands is F1 quali standard! @Fab85 beats @Neilski by 2/1000ths and he is just 1/500ths of a sec ahead of me.
@Rod100 completes the Sub5, great effort across the week, fast in the Fiat and got to know Highlands Long, wiping seconds at a time off his lap. Objective achieved!
Special mention to @GoodGame.eXistenZ , he not a fan of "made-up" tracks, so no Long, but several tenths clear around Brands and the World Record best lap! Tight!

Really well done and thanks to everyone who tackled the Long and the Short.
    Intense competition!

ACC – Ferrari 488 GT3 at Mount Panorama
    5 Laps
    1. Moodyryder - 10.23.064 ps4
    2. Mike Reynolds - 10.25.965 PC
    3. Peggy11 – 10.35.061 PC
    4. TinPeach – 10.35.109 X1X

Not many made the trip to Aus, but I've managed to form a picture of @moodyryder , honning down a brick red, dust road, on the back of a kangaroo.
Moody takes to the top step and has the win in the marsupium! Almost three secs clear of ACC Pro @mike reynolds , it must be a dizzying feeling up there! Certainly is for those looking on!!:D
Well done to @mike reynolds for testing, improving greatly and letting Moody win!
@Peggy11 takes third place and @TinPeach was less than 1/10th off, after 10 minutes....

Thanks to everyone for playing and contributing this week, travel to Germany is clear and quarantine free.... Lass uns gehen!
