1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I watched your video but noticed when I came to do a lap that what I assume to be turn 3 is different in my game to yours. Everything on the left in your video of turn 3 is grass but as you can see from the attached screen shot on mine it is something completely different. Does anyone have any ideas why it should be different? I just happened to notice it and am curious why the same corner should be different.

Last lap was a bit scruffy and lost at least half a second but very surprised how much I improved over my previous time.

@HandyAndy1962 , in a whc few months ago someone also noticed the difference in turn 3. If I remember correctly, the difference is that kunos used different textures in PC and console versions for that turn.

Damn that nurburgring trip is insane , with the z4 i'm done, maybe i can shave off 0.2/0.3 seconds but i think that's enough :D, for a 22  i need a z4 step 2:D; the 98t is a deadly trap, but who care, we are alive :D, probably i can reach a 36 but i'm not sure. On Acc i need a bit more consistency, i don't think i'll improve much.

After asking the question I did wonder if that might be the answer. I noticed that in ACC the turn looked very similar to the video. Thanks for clearing up my query.

When I finally did break through into the 6th lap, I realised at the final corner that I didn't have enough fuel.

Ran out at the last turn. Coasted over the line. Probably only lost a second though.

I'm just happy to have got through to lap 6. I was stuck on 2m01 laps for a while. The breakthrough was changing the brake pads to #1.

Good fun combo again. I like this type of challenge. You can see easily if you're on schedule; 2 minute or less laps required.

It turns out I haven't driven this car before. So I started with the stock setup with corrected psi, and fuel, tc off of course. Then I did a few laps, tried tweaking the toe a bit. Then I remembered about the camber extravaganza app. It seems to work pretty good. I got the tune nailed in very little time - only a few laps. This is also the first time I have ever seen the tires balanced with psi (my fault right side was a little to high) and the temperature was also balanced properly. Amazing. I guess the reason why people always say temp does not matter is because they don't understand how to tune properly or *how the game wants you to tune*.

Crank it up to 11! Insane machine. I had a tune saved but I needed to increase everything power wise and adjust the gearing to suit. The tune I had was for a race not for a hotlap and in this car that makes for a big difference.

I found that the app really gives a good indication about camber. But in some cases the optimum value are still not the best, as you want let's say the most positive setting at the rear axle in order to make the car turn. Knowledge and testing helps - still ,the app is a time saver.

    Interesting to play after ACC.

The field of view is much better in the Mercedes Arena. It's not as blind so getting on the power isn't as much of a guess. FOV can't be adjusted in console ACC.

Force Feedback seems much weaker now in original AC. I always used to have it at 35 but coming back from ACC it felt very light. Now I've cranked it up to 70. Felt much better.

Good to play the track in a different car. Even if I did forget about the GP chicane. Oops. What restarts were made for. :)

In the BMW @Pretend racer and @Fab85 have blasted in and taken over the lower podium. The top step however is owned outright by @GoodGame.eXistenZ and it is very comfortably furnished. He relaxes, one second clear of the very quickest.
There are strange times at this circuit. There is an unusually big gap between the top 4 and the rest. Having watched both @GoodGame.eXistenZ and @Pretend racer 's vid, apart from the circuit being different, I can't see why.

In the Lotus @Fab85 and @Pretend racer have blasted in and taken over the upper podium. @Fab85 's lap is well into the 1.30s and absolutely fabulous!

Just over 24hrs till the flag!

Teaser announcement: WHC200 is coming up!

At 6pm this evening, the lights go out and we roar into a three week, mega festival of driving events across both games.

There will be an overall leader board covering all events, you get points for the challenge entered and points for position placed, the overall winner of WHC200 can rightly call themselves the KING (or QUEEN) of AC!:)

    On the first lap round.
Easy if you know how! Or at least, easier.

I put more negative camber on the rear only and had another go, it made it easier to get the power down earlier out of the corners and less twitchy through the final chicane :)
