1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    My top speed was 211mph before braking for turn 1 and going onto the 2nd lot of banking. Lots of wheel shake & vibrations on the banking. I gradually got braver and headed up higher but I can't begin to imagine what it must have been like to drive it for real. First time I've ever tried the car which was very enjoyable.

    I did 1 lap to get my eye in and sort the tyre pressures, then this lap to set a time (plus the 3 laps in between where I had off tracks and invalidated them :D ).

    Woooooowwwww, major adrenaline rush. Scary scary beast. After realising that it was safe to floor the throttle as long as I wasn't in 2nd gear :p I managed to start improving my time. Given that we're now running at 10°C, I'm properly impressed by the WR time cos there just aren't that many corners to get wrong :D
    I know I need to improve Parabolica though. Meanwhile I tried and failed to take Curva Grande flat - maybe not possible... Awesome combo! (But by heck the banking is bumpy.)

    Understanding the a car little better. Increased brake bias to 65%, I think it improved braking at turn entries, which was a problem for me. Cold tires 37 front and 35 rear in order to reach de recommended 40.[​IMG]

    Tortuous is the best word to describe my experience with this challenge this morning.

    I put in a 6:47 banker on the very first attempt, sorted tyre pressures and fuel for my first 'proper' attempt.......... 20+ attempts later I finally managed the above!

    There's still plenty of time of left to get, but I think I'll leave both the Nordschleife challenges where they are. :p

    Top speed I can get to is 214mph, I'm at 200mph coming off Curva Sud entering the straight.
    Anyone got any ratio advice?:D

    I'm also getting around 224 mph, with the rear wing at 1. (I tried 0 and 2 and didn't notice much difference tbh.)
    Are the brakes dragging, or throttle not fully open? (Turbo at 100%?) If your pots are playing up (a problem I know so well) that might explain it. I haven't tried using the lower part of the banking but I'd expect that it would scrub off a good bit of speed - can't imagine you're doing that though.
    EDIT Damn: I forgot to mention that I'm on the default gear ratios!

    The end of Week 1, one third championship distance, @HandyAndy1962 is the WHC200 Championship Leader.

    With some considerable driving since the Thursday Tables, he has now entered six out of seven events, and pops in an "Have your say!" entry too!
    @Peggy11 does Monza and very nearly goes 1st, which bumps him up to equal 4th with @mike reynolds .
    @Rod100 has had a great weekend, he moves from 11th to 6th and @moodyryder improves from 9th to 7th, having done some high speed work in the Ferrari FxxK and Porsche 962. @Neilski has also put an early toe in the water, or at least, had a run around the park. He goes fastest at Monza and takes 9th position.
