1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'm jealous!

    After quite a few laps, my top speed with the default ratios is consistently:
    209mph - aero at 1
    212mph - aero 0, which is what @moodyryder did on PS4
    (@Rod100 - what did you get up to?)

    With some gear tweaking and aero at 0, I can get to 214mph absolute max, coming off the banking at 201 mph.

    Can anyone on console beat 214mph?:) We need some more data..., before I cry unfair!:D

    @Totall Wrytoff , I'm getting here 342km/h top speed (212.5 mph) with aero 1, standard gears and 100% turbo.

    Edit: tried with aero 0, no difference in top speed. But I noticed that although I have set turbo to 100%, the turbo bar on the HUD does not go beyond 80%. Perhaps a glitch in console version?

    Perhaps one of the PCers might check what the top speed is at 80% Turbo.

    My bet is no more than 214 mph.:)

    I can take a look tomorrow if nobody does it sooner (have just finished for the night).
    But: I have noticed that the turbo spools down a little (even at 100%) as the revs climb. (I think this happens in all gears but I'm not absolutely certain.)

    I had a hell of a time with this one. My Nords knowledge still isn't brilliant but it has improved a lot lately. That didn't seem to help very much though, as I had countless offs while trying to match @Totall Wrytoff's time (and failing) - bravo! I tried loads of things with the setup, which mostly seemed to make things worse, so in the end I went back almost to the defaults.
    Meanwhile, the music from this thing is just beautiful...

    Wow, this was way more twitchy than I expected. Felt like someone had hit fast-forward! I kept binning it and had a scary number of tries before I managed to get a single valid lap :confused:
    And of course, it's sooooo frustrating when you have an off 5+ minutes into a lap here.
    I ended up leaving it on "charge" the whole time and manually deploying (distracting, and probably not ideal, but I didn't want to try flipping the mode mid-lap).

    I ended up doing it just now on a special test track (quasi-infinite), default gear ratios:
    100% turbo, 366 kph ~= 226 mph
    80% turbo, 348 kph ~= 216 mph

    Hmm. Maybe the console really isn't using 100% :(

    Great for mainstream gaming.

    Not the way to go for even a casual sim racer I think.

    Unless you mean AC provides a more realistic experience, I'm thinking totally the opposite to you @sissydriver !
    But that's illustrative in itself.
    I haven't played ACC for a while and it is a bit of a shock to come back too. It's fuzzy, arcadey and most unsatisfying. The answer is to get a PC, rather than hope the console software will be sorted out. Sony will not notice!

    My previous attempt was with the turbo set at 80% as I hadn't realised it wasn't at 100% and then my top speed was 211 mph. For this run I turned up the turbo to 100% and lowered fifth gear by one click and my top speed was 221 mph. I'm quite slow through Parabolica as I'm struggling to stay in control.
