1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Does anyone know if it's possible to swap the gas and clutch around?

    I got my CSL Elite wheel installed and im using my T-LCM pedals with drivehub.

    My pedals are inverted but since i no longer have the t300 base i cant just flip the switch on the base to inverted mode.

    ACC is very quiet this week.
    However, even though he has spent a chunk of time on AC this week, @sissydriver has also tamed the bull at Zandvoort and has a decent advantage over challenge setter @mike reynolds. It could all change though...
    Sympathies go out to @SlowGrayAudi ! A nasty sounding "crick" - hope that's on the mend - and an even nastier sounding, hardware compatibility issue. I suggest throwing money at the problem...a set of Clubsport 3 pedals would solve it. :)

    I managed to fix the pedal issue!

    I was watching barry's video review of the pedals from the sim racing garage. I noticed the board had a plug from each pedal going into it. So i opened up my pedals and swapped connectors going into the board from the gas and clutch.

    Both pedal plugs had the same amount of wires and they were all in the same order.

    Lucky me if worked!

    So nowt the pedals work inverted!

    Slightly disappointed. A gain of just under one second.
    The Nords is so special; Mental effort. I find, on a hot lap, the required concentration starts to become intense, just around Hohe Acht, and just when the track gets absolutely treacherous!

    The more experience you have the less likely you are getting stressed when you are on a fast lap. When put yourself under pressure too much or start to overthink your next corners you will start to make mistakes. Experience helps you to stay relaxed and focus on your previous errors a lot better during a good lap. That is why I like to practice for important events, like you would turn on a computer... Easier said then done eh ?:D

    But the Nissan has quite a different manner to other cars so, I'm having to feel my way into the corners as if fresh to the track.
    Your vid (although quite dark and my FOV is completely different:)) is hugely helpful!

    Yes, the R34 is in fact unique in AC. It allows you to be on the throttle so early, you would not expect it without trying. Turn in understeer is a bit of an issue though.

    I usually run fixed on board (the one wirhout the wheel) at FOV 33, so really close to the hood, but this gives me the best focus on the corners. I started with FOV 60 years ago...could not go back to this setting *shivers*.
