I didn't think I'll get to 1.54s when I did my first laps.. you guys are too good. I thought Bias was the key, this is at 58 but did the same time with 61..

 

I had to play with the setup a lot to make it work for me. Definitely a tricky car. Very nervous both in low speed and high due to the ridiculous power.

A dog related incident cost me over a second on lap 4!

 

Surely that should read "only just over a second..."
Very well handled Mike.

From experience, one fart can cause a complete and unrecoverable wipeout!

 

No improvement this Friday, but I tried the new ACC patch, I found that they fixed the stuttering that really annoyed me. However, still remains the 30 fps rate and camera position/ FOV not adjustable. I had forgotten how better the audio and FFB are on ACC.

The FFB and Audio is unrivaled. I just wish the porting company did a better job with implementation.

Better headlights, fov/seat adjustment, better online filters (for SA matchmaking) and the game would damn near be perfect.

I know 60fps isnt happening on ps4 hardware

 

I played online with Fred last night on original AC. I haven't been on it for quite a while.

It made me realise just how poor ACC is. Ok it has some great features but ultimately it looks like its running on a ps2 not 4.

I really liked it at first but updates have made it progressively worse.

The ps4 is 7 years old and I understand it cannot do what a pc can.

But it can do better than that.

Its all opinions, I understand this and some people are still loving ACC.

For me though the chapter is closed.

 

I've spent a good 2 hours trying to get a sub 1:54, and got absolutely no where near my previous best let alone achieving it , must have been a fluke lap yesterday?

That's me done for this week on both challenges, I'm going to have lunch then get ready for the Rolex 24.

In a week of imperious driving in AC, @GoodGame.eXistenZ is imperious. Home turf no doubt. His lap of 1min 50.4 secs is over three seconds faster than the previous WR. Mega.
Closest to him is @F1415182235 , who won the last WHC in the 911 GT-1 and to reference his comment at the time, clearly likes pain! He makes it into the ‘51’s, a stunningly good lap time, congrats!
Third placed @Benoit Boyadjis is a regular podium man! Some great improvement over the week gets him up there again and as we know, it’s a team effort chez lui!
Honourable mentions this week to @SlowGrayAudi ‘s excellent 1.1 sec improvement which jumps him into 4th , @Rod100 ‘s enthusiasm and finally, a big welcome to @elmiau on his WHC debut!

In ACC the positions rotated throughout the week, before @sissydriver bangs in a great set to go clear and takes 1st place. Inspired by the beautiful scenery, but not distracted! Well done!
@Peggy11 completes both challenges and takes P2, which is worth lots of cred and deserves a day off! His position in AC is only testament to this week’s amazing lap times but in ACC, it is the driving. He nails his first set, nice one!
@mike reynolds takes third, but only because of a mysterious, but obviously well-managed “dog related incident.” His lap time in AC's GT1 is excellent too. All in all, a good week!
