1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

The action has been split between Laguna Seca and Spa. @Emmanuel Tubbiolo and @TinPeach have been pushing each other faster and faster, and @local_man1234 has dropped straight in with a very quick time to split them. ET's lap time at Laguna two years ago was 1.25.437, so that's a huge improvement but he has now moved from the jet-ski to the barge, which in my experience, is a tricky move!
And we are all hoping TinPeach's shoulders hold out!

Over at Spa @caly82 has done an eye-catchingly, impressive sub 2.50. Great lap! @SlowGrayAudi drops in behind after improving to a 2.50.

But clearly the most impressive recent entry is by @moodyryder , nailing the three events in one go! And more importantly, posting a very nice thanks to the administrator. Thanks to you Moody!:)

Plenty of time left, let's hope we can quadruple the number of entries by this time next week!

    ACC at Barcelona

    Emil Frey Jaguar G3

    17 Laps
    1. Mike Reynolds - 30:40:338 - PC

    16 Laps
    1. SlowGrayAudi - 30:53.034 PC

It is as you were at Barcelona.
The BIG question is, will ET be setting a time in ACC? His copy has finally arrived.:)

Thanks TW and yes ACC needs a little feedback. Unfortunately it's not working out for me. I blame the fact that I have a basic Xbox. Maybe better with upper end consoles. I'll wait to have a PC to have a real go at it. It will need a drastic update but I don't really believe in it. Anyway it's all good I have AC..

I did these laps Tuesday, I think. I thought I could practice more in the following days, but unable.

There must be something really wrong with my driving at highlands...

You’re well within your rights to blame the Xbox. Although far from perfect and still being updated, the XSX version is night and day over it. The original Xbox version has a nasty frame pacing issue (which isn’t present on the PS4 version, that has its own unique problems to iron out) which they don’t seem to have been able to fix, this makes the whole experience much more difficult and the feel sluggish.

They are, apparently, working on a new version for PS5 and XSX to better utilise their uniques architecture rather than just the backward compatibility presently. I really enjoy the XSX version already, but a new port for the more powerful consoles may get us even closer to the PC version - which is extremely good on the right kit.

Love the car actually. I wouldn't mind one of them. You can put the all family in it and go to SPA..

Great info. Have to say I am a bit disappointed as I didn't imagine it will be so far from AC. Personally, because I am not a big video game fan and only play AC the option for me in the future will be a PC. First better equipment but I'll look what PC spec is needed and will enjoy shop around and see if its doable in the future. I dream of a new wheelbase. If anyone has an opinion I'll wouldn't mind. I see Thrusmaster TX-SW for about €400 or going a bit crazy and add €150 to that and get Fanatec Clubsport V2.5...
For both it's about 200 to get a loadcell pedals. A dream for the moment but if I update from my Logitech it's to be ok for the next 10 years so if I have to save the extra cash I'll do it.
