1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Welcome to the thread for the Weekly Hotlap Challenge #230

    The Challenge:
    Hotlap
    Car: Nissan 370z
    Track: Vallelunga Classic

    The little Nissan is a tight little road car so it doesn’t have too many setup options. The brakes are strong and it handles quite well but the engine isn’t overpowered so it’s a car that rewards you if you can carry your momentum through the apex.


    I will be sharing my ghost car lap for those who are willing to try it out. I think it will be quite useful. Check out my post in WHC 229 for a quick preview of the process.

    Lowered rear wing to 2, added 1 click front bump stop and raised front to 57mm.

    Still bottoming out a lot, not sure if it really losing me any time. Trying to take the last corner flat still, struggling to make that happen.

    Apparently there's still time on the table.

    I'd say it's pretty quick in this car, I can see my way into the 38's with a good run but not a 37. Sim time is a problem for me at the moment though so not sure if I'll get another run.

    I did an online race the day before this challenge and it was at Zandvoort so i had some prior knowledge well say. Never really raced on this track before.

    Nice... looks complicated though compare to my Logitech. I have good news too. I pre ordered the CSL DD.... so happy.

    And AC2!! After I buy pedals and steering wheel I really have to get in to the PC vibe. Don't think it'll come out in Xbox.

    Pleased with that effort, despite still being some way off of top spot! I managed to get all 3 purple sectors in my best lap for once, I'm taking it as a sign I've done all I can :cool:.

    F1 is calling now so that's me done for this WHC.

    A few quick laps on a Father’s Day Sunday morning. Not been on lately as my weekends have been taken up on delivering a new baby - my beloved 550 has finally been traded in for something more modern - it’s taken some serious time but I had to get this right after finally getting permission from the wife, so lots of research etc.
