Porsche RSR 2017 @ Laguna Seca!

RSR WR 1.20.321
Majority of laptimes are in the 1.23-1.29 range. The last time I ran this combo was in Sept 2018 and I got a 1.22.697

All tires should be set to 26psi.



How to take part -
Hot lap: To enter, select Drive > Hotlap, choose the Porsche RSR 2017
Please setup the session using the settings below:

Mode: Hotlap
Track: Laguna Seca
Time of day: Free Ambient
Temp: Free
Setup: Free
Controller: Free
Assists: Factory
Stability: Free
Deadline: Sunday December 19th 2021 I usually post the results around 10pm MST.

You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, it’s simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used! Please post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

Battle of Beemers!

This week we are celebrating the release of M4 GT3, which has quickly become the car of choice for the Turn 1 hero's in MP, so much so that most servers now look like some of BMW club race, anyway, now’s our chance to take it out and rag it before it gets BOP’s to death!

I’m also giving us an alternative choice of the BMW M6 GT3 in case anyone on console wants to get involved (or PC crew, feel free to post a time for both and let’s see how much faster the M4 really is).

We’ll be running this one down at the mighty Spa.

Well, according to rule 41.3 subsection 2, it was exactly the right result.

Congratulations to Max. A worthy champion in bizarre circumstances.

The scriptwriter needs to reign it in a bit though. It's getting so contrived that folks are getting suspicious.

G'day mugwumps from hellI did want Max to win but that was flipping bizarreIt sets up 2022 nicely though.But why didn't Lewis come in for fresh tyres as you never know what could or could not happen?Waaayyy too many grey areas now.

Didn’t adjust anything, not even fuel. Had five mins and wanted a blast in the Porka because it’s fun to drive, and to find the correct screen for uploading. I didn’t realise it had no ABS!

One quick run in the M6 so I can compare how quick the M4 is for me. Moody, that’s a fine time considering on console you can’t see over the dashboard due to no seat adjustment. I may have another run in M6, depends how I much I like the M4???

 

It's not too bad. It's just the first corner and the last chicane. It's more of an educated guess as to when to turn in rather than look where you're going.

My time in the last sector are all over the place. It was just blind luck that I got it somewhere near on one lap.

It’s a good enough car, very planted and fast out of the box, just lacks a bit of character really.
