1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Has anyone ever changed the brushes on their T500rs? My wheel is coming up for 4 years old, it’s been working fine but I wondered if I should open it up and service it?

If I were you I’d be thinking, if it ain’t broke, don’t try and fix it. That’s just my opinion though

All I have done is re-tension the belts, change a noisy fan, and change the micro-switches for the paddle shifters.

My T500RS was a second-hand gift from a motion-sim rig company who had used it extensively for testing and promo events. These things seem to be bullet proof! :)

Although there’s nothing wrong with the wheel I am wondering if it needs cleaning out. The fan does ramp up to full quite frequently. I’m wondering how much cat hair has been sucked inside the casing. Is it easy to remove the cover and see?

Yes, pretty easy. I followed a video on YouTube. I had to remove my wheel from my WheelStandPro first, but I guess it would probably take about 10-15mins to take apart, check, and reassemble.

    Hello,
the t500rs is a sturdy steering wheel that requires very little maintenance, yet every year it is blown advisor
inside and applied a lubricant on all moving parts (pulley, gables, rack ..) doing this
you will find an increased smoothness of operation and effects much smoother, and by the same lengthéé its lifespan. you risk absolutely nothing
and this is of a childish simplicity

No, I think I just searched for "T500RS belt tension" or "T500RS replace fan" on YouTube - there are quite a few useful videos to watch.

Same, replaced the default fan with a Noctua - more efficient and almost silent. Love it so would definitely recommend it.
Should you not find any video (but I think there should be), I think I have some photos of the operation :).
