1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Where to ask for driving advice?

Hello. I'm just wondering if there a specific place to maybe post a video and ask for tips on how to improve your driving? I am driving the Lotus Exos 125 at Monza, and no matter what I do, I can't seem to get my time below a 1.40. I'm looking at the you tube videos and seeing people do 1.33's and just cant copy them. I can see mistakes in my replays but when I iron them out the times don't improve. Would someone mind having a look and see what I'm doing wrong? You can tell me I'm crap if I really am because I know that, I just want to improve. Thanks for reading!

Edit- Just to say I'm using a g27 wheel and pedals.

I think you were looking at exos s1 videos. This is the standard exos.

Your enter corners unbalanced, causing the car to understeer. On the exit, you use too much throttle too soon or too late and cause the car to understeer. Between the chicanes, you don't stab the throttle to 100% for just a bit, easily saving a third of a second just in the chicane. The car wobbles everywhere on braking and you don't trail brake deep enough. You don't use the whole track on the entry and exit. Instead of entering immediately, you "creep" the car towards the middle of the track then enter, making your cornering speed limit artificially low, never getting into the 1s range from the WR whatever you do, ever.

I don't drive this car, but nobody should need to tell you what you're doing wrong - it's all there in the vid very clearly.
Apart from what people have already said - look at your exit of Ascari and Parabolica - you can see that you're leaving lots of room un-used on the exit, but then letting the steering out. The car needs to be exiting at a speed where you end up on the outside kerb naturally due to carrying speed, not because you've steered outwards after going through slower than is possible. It needs to feel like you're at the limit everywhere to be a fast lap.
Hope you can see what I mean.
    :)

Sorry I think I said it wrong. Today I was hot lapping at monza using the exos t125 (not s1), and the 1st record was 1.33.something.

But still, youtube videos or best lap times were made in older game versions, now since v1.0 that brought changes to physics/tyre model, lap times are slower than they used to be. They resemble even more lap times done with the real car on the real track.
