1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    It was filmed on a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9. The Ferrari sound was dubbed on top.

    Very close for top spot witb the GT40. Less than a tenth between Leif & DriverModFTW.

    0.027 between TW & myself over nearly 8 minutes of lapping on the overall. Early days though. I never tend to gain much over the week.

    I have managed to better my effort from WHL 42. That was done with the ds4 though.

    Exactly the same time! Nearly.
    Didn't feel as fast as the Ford but my shirt is dry!
    Have done a film but it hasn't gone through to You Tube yet...

    I used Labbe's tune for imola then modified the gearing, tire psi, and fuel levels. Fun car when it all goes right. It took many restarts because you really have to drive this car on the limit the whole time, which doesn't leave any room for errors and also makes it tricky to keep it together for a whole lap. Its such a long track too, that it takes a while to remember all the braking points etc. My first sector was slower than my PB and I had way too much over steer into the penultimate corner, I'm guessing I lost at least half a second with those mistakes. I quite like driving this car though.

    In hindsight I think I should have driven the Ford before the Ferrari. The Ford does not suit my driving style. I felt like even though the ferrari was tricky on this track I was able to finesse it around the track intuitively. I'm not sure if that is just because of Labbe's tune (I'm a big fan of how he sets up cars), or I just wasn't able to fine tune the Ford to give me the same confidence that I had in the Ferrrari. I ended up doing about 2x the amount of km's in the Ford. It does rail around the corners with more stability than the Ferrari but the brakes are terrible and it has some understeer issues. The Ford seems to require perfect braking technique in order to get it slowed down properly to set up for the corner, which I struggled with.
    I tried a couple of different tunes and I think I settled on Labbe's tune for Le Grand Circuit. But it still doesn't feel quite right to me.

    I think I could shave another second or so off this time with a more perfect lap but I could also shave 1 sec from my time with the Ferrari too. In the end the Ferrari is the one I would own (when I win the Lotto) lol.

    So far the score is 3 people faster in the Ferrari and 2 people faster in the Ford...

    @Pretend racer -I had the same feeling with the GT40.I cannot get on with those brakes.I go into corners not knowing what she's going to do.Like you i'm so much more confident in the 330.I reckon it's our driving styles that the GT40 doesn't like very much as apposed to tuning issues;)
    I might just concentrate on the Ferrari,she's my new favourite:D
