1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Awesome. Actually perfect, as I am very curious about this... So "How is it so far, in this very, very early build?"

    Any tips, tricks you would suggest? I just got some new Rifts in from our friends at Oculus, and looking to redo a couple of our sim battlestations for VR.

    What are you looking forward to the most? Besides even MOAR fidelity, and MOAR frames per second mwahaha :cool:, of course.

    This will seriously fix VR visuals for now:

    You can play with the vr.PixelDensity value vs. ingame Resolution Scale, haven't experimented much if it overwrites one another or what.
    I prefer AA set to Temporal, High. Don't use Epic, not worth it.

    As for how VR is in ACC , its really good even in comparison to full release titles . Id say it's clearer with these settings than all the competition even though it's only really possible to get 45 fps and ASW on full time it's smooth and just looks great in VR and the weather effects are great .
    All I really want from future releases is better performance so 90 fps is possible with my current PC and MOAR cars and tracks ;)
    Loving ACC atm and haven't played any other racing sim since ACC got VR even though I have them all and had fallen in love with rF2 and its VR but ACC has taken my attention for now .

    I've personally probably only put in about 10 hours total and maybe half of that is track time in my times are still abysmal!

    This is a great improvement but for me it's not game changing, just an improvement. I have a mid level system and it really struggles with framerates, 45 max often 30 and at those framerates it is still a little rough visually whilst AC looks great by comparison.
    The end result is I'll continue to log hours in AC for the moment.

    I've got 70 hours logged so far. It's the first time I've participated in an early access driving sim and I'm really enjoying the one car, one track release schedule as you can dial in on the nuances of each circuit/car.

    I'm looking forward to some proper seat time next week when my new rig arrives.

    For 25€ that's already 0.39€/hour played.
    I consider anything below 0.4€ very good price/quality and a worthwhile buy.
    When I hit 0.1€/hour played I'll feel like there should be a donate button.
