1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory.
  2. FOR ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE: If you report issues with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder!
  3. If your game executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, then run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether.

Don't fight it, it will only get worse. Remember the Streisand effect (ironically also a name, the namebearer did not chose).

Way more interesting for me was how he avoided a crash when he braked late. Watch @24:53

That was nothing, check David's race on Silverstone and situation at 1:10:00 that was insane. Fastest hands ever seen :) //m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=Pw7S4oWG10E

Some nice evasive maneuvering there. Could otherwise have Gonkoed the Aston Martin right off the track.

So here is one I totally got wrong and nearly took out the leader. I knew I had messed up and decided to go across the grass to avoid hitting the leader. I had no idea just how close I came to ending his race. Unintentional and totally my fault, but avoided taking people with me. Again, totally my fault and totally got it wrong on braking.
I, on the other hand, got a shunt.

If the question here is who's at fault for the contact, then it's probably the guy who shunted you from behind. It seems to me he was following by example though.

So you did not gonko the leader but instead the rest of the rooster.
    Efficient.:p:D

I didn't hit anyone dude. Rather than shunt the leader I took to the grass to avoid him. Thankfully we avoided contact.
The guy behind obviously misjudged the brakes too and had nowhere to go. Racing incident, I don't think it was intentional.

Not really a question on who is at fault i think?
The blue audi that tapped the car ofcourse.

Seeing this, it looks like even light contact makes the other car bounce away. Not an expert on how realistic that is. But it looks a little exaggerated.

Yeah the hope is this helps people calm down at the start of races. I've done 2 races today, one of them was having the cars like damn skittles down the main straight.

Yeah that is a concern if true. A light tap like that shouldn't send a car flying out of control. I did find that any contact in ACC has exaggerated consequences.

I noticed that Nissans are pretty sensitive to those kind of punts.

Did you see him too late?
From the bonnet view it looks like you could have easily evaded him by going around the outside.
