1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Wish they added a bit of more Flatout style arcadish tracks with jumps, destructible objects, etc.
Even that FFB is almost good, esp. on loose surfaces, tarmac needs some work, I doubt anyone comes to this game for accurate driving physics.
While fun at first it gets boring rather quickly.

The 4GB release update really added some polish all around, UI and ingame graphics. Also some hilarious bonus vehicles, a school bus, a harvester and Reliant Robins :D

Price went up by 15€ on release, 45€ is quite steep (although imo still worth it). Despite that, seems to be top seller #2 in Steam

FFB is pretty decent, with good wheel support, even OSW.
Was really hoping for more content.

  7. The game is moddable, start creating!

Silly Kunos spending all that time and resources adding more cars and tracks.

There's loads of mod tracks for Wreckfest already, this pack for example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=764432700

Even crazy stuff, like insane 50 meter high ramps and slopes. But sadly many of them are not quite to official standard visually. Or at least the ones I have tested. Apparently there's also some mod cars.

If Wreckfest would get it's own LilSkis and Fat-Alfies who would create high quality content... damn. The option is there, would think that if the game gets popular enough, only matter of time? Enabling and disabling mods works via in-game menu, updates happen via Steam Workshop, far more user friendly than with AC.

    AC is also moddable, no?
Why deliver end user content if modders can take care of it.
Did I get your tune right?

  12. Oh man, they have reset it again

I was doing some career now and then late in the evening from the couch.. don't feel like starting over.

  13. Does it have VR support? :D

Nope. I so wish it did because my rig only supports vr and I really like Wreckfest []>《

They should have used this as launch trailer :p

Ok maybe a bit lenghty. But how they pull those crashes without FPS drops, and having decent driving physics in the mean time. Impressive stuff

Gave this another go its actually a bit of fun and drives well for an arcade with a wheel. Wasnt a big fan last time I tried it in EA but now its something I will give more of a run for something different.

More enjoyable then PC2 was for me and setting up the Accuforce to work well was easier, landing big jumps with a heavy car is brutal ffb wise lol. A fair bit of smoothing and dampening and its not bad, luckily sim commander can do this easily as ingame settings are limited to just a basic ffb force slider.

Yep, I went back to it just today and it was really fun. Has been polished alot since last time I tried it.
Can be fun doing the career or even multiplayer with some of you guys on this forum. :D
