1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Haven't followed Fanatec product line up in a while since I was set. So I noticed my Wheel Base V1 is now outdated... :(
    Maybe I should sell my Wheel Base V1 and buy a CSL Elite for PS4? Then I could use it on all systems...

    NO...dear God, no...get a ClubSport v2 or v2.5...CSL has weak FFB, not the best wheel attachment system...the ClubSport quick release...is one of the best out there.

    Well, it is a wheel design that I like, of a car that I like, at a price that's pretty attractive. It's definitely on my wishlist.

    I don't agree with Fanatec that they don't put the ClubSport quick release on every wheel (I would prefer a small price increase or having the choice of the part at purchase over having to buy another part in addition) but it also ultimately doesn't really matter to me if it's tool-less or not since I don't plan on buying more than one wheel.


    By the way, what's the expected price for their upcoming Direct Drive wheelbase? If it's not more expensive than the ClubSport I'd rather have that.

    Isn’t the mounts themselves on the CSL base and the CSP base the same? The difference is on the wheels themselves, and I believe you can buy an upgrade if you want it

    Mounts are the same, it's about the part on the wheel.

    My issue with it is that they don't put the better release on every wheel as standard (Even if it makes the wheel slightly more expensive it'd be preferable) or give you the choice at purchase so you don't need to order both. If your wheel of choice has the release that requires tools you need to purchase another part for ~100 EUR if you want the tool-less quick release.

    But again, only a concern if you plan on having multiple wheels to switch quickly in between for different cars. Ultimately not really an issue for me.

    Just having a look at pricing in AUD here and it looks spot on.

    Formula carbon rim that has the good quick release $400

    McLaren rim plus the upgraded quick release $410

    Given the extra features of the McLaren wheel but possibly slightly cheaper build being in line with the formula carbon rim seems right.

    Some people have very small budgets and having a cheaper option and choice seems goood to me

    The quietness about the new DLC is both reassuring and very disturbing. Don't really care about the day it comes, but I hope its this year and really hope that no cars get dropped. Not even the Quattroporte, I'm one of those people who is actually looking forward to drifting the Pantheon on wheels :D

    I guess the DLC will drop around the time I finally get my rig installed in the new house :)

    Although I'm not the biggest LS fan around, it will be great for US fans and hey - it's a new track. Don't even know the cars right now but they surely will be great.

    Impressive stuff, it reminds me of my DIY wheel I made a long time ago to play NFS Porsche Unleashed :) It used optical sensors from those old trackball mouses, some electronics and it was connected through the serial port to my PC. I had also to write some windows drivers to emulate a custom joystick, worked pretty well in the end. The most difficult was the mechanical part for me.

    Anyways, the only thing the guy needs now for immersion is some Flinstones car simulator :D
