Add a sharpening filter like iRacing...

Since iRacing adding their "sharpening" filter, the game looks AMAZING at 4K and 10K (triple). Please add such option.

Or is it because anything iracing does has no place here?

Well, we already have it in an ini file, If you go to graphics.ini you can alter it there manually.

 

Guess I grew tired of his post, if you look at history of postings.

 

Is that the same thing as in iracing? What we have in AC will add some kind of distortion in the long distance graphics if i remember correctly. was a while since i last tried it so might remember it wrong but i think that was the reason i stopped using it.

is it somehow possible to force more than AF to 16 in AC?

NO, it's set to default. I wish there was an option to adjust sharpness.

 

Probaby not exactly what you want however i use negative lod bias in nVidia inspector to gain some sharpness.

 

Yes, I suggested the same for VR mode but I guess screen users could benefit from it too!

 

Try this:

\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\graphics.ini

MIP_LOD_BIAS=-1.5 ; GO NEGATIVE (ie. -1) TO SHARP THE IMAGE

(-1.5 is the personal value I like)

Yes, but the graphics still suck.

Not that i mind that, actually... physics are ten times more important to me than graphics.
