1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    i found the 1m to have lots of grip compared to ac, i was trying hard to drift it but it always wanted to grip back, only when i changed to all terrain or whatever tire it was tail happy.

    As I said from direct experience the 1M can literally destroy the rear tires (Pilot sport cup 2) in second gear and still sustain a lot of spin in third.

    In addition it transitions VERY quickly into oversteer condition at the minimum gas input while cornering at maximum lateral acceleration.

    In Ac you can replicate this kind of conditions, in Pcars2 NO (no matter how absurd and oversteery is the suspensions setup).

    I asked Kevin on steam so maybe he "un-deleted" it. I double and triple checked and it wasnt there. I am neither on drugs or alcohol today, unfortunately.

    If that's not enough, you can find some Nurburgring Sprint GP lap times for 135i Performance Option (1.48.62) and M3 E92 (1.44.86). Tried with AC's 1M and did 1.45.67 within a few laps so the performance should be "in the ballpark". That was with default alignments, street tyres and default 30 litres of fuel. Temperature drop (from 26C) alone would be enough to match M3 performance with my non-alien driving skills.

    I do not like the BMW 1M in Assetto Corsa,too much understeer in mid corner off throttle.I do not see the real car to have so much understeer as the 1M in Assetto Corsa:

    I don't know about the understeer but I managed to drive it pretty much only with throttle/brake/neutral steer. It only understeer if not manipulating weight transfer properly. All that without touching the alignments.

    I spent three or four hours closing and restarting the game before it would recognize mine; Wouldn't recognize them in the assignment screen or the bindings screen. Once it finally (randomly) decided that, yes, there are pedals plugged into the pc it has worked ever since with no issues. (knock on wood)

    I really wanted to drive at Daytona during a rain storm at night.
    I was using a torrent (ripped) version at the time, if I had bought the game off of Steam from the get-go I would have refunded it in the two hour window without ever being able to so much as leave pit road.
    I have no idea what I did that finally got the game to recognize my pedals though.
