1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Yes you are the only one ... but who cares about cars that have not been around for a few years ?! Even the z4 ... come on it will be more important in case you have the new AMG and 488 eche cars of years ago ...o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

Unfortunately he does not run in the SRO championships ..... not even in the USA

  3. i hope he is the only one... I don't need this old cars. Will be a PITA to bop these against modern GT3s and they are just old... If he wanna race old Cars, he should go to iracing :LUL:

he isn’t the only one, an NA GT3 V8 Ferrari would be a special thing, especially considering the high quality of sounds in ACC.

I can see why it wouldn’t be likely though and these cars would be largely uncompetitive, good for single make series only really

maybe... just maybe, some years later... there could be a "blancpaing legends dlc" with these old-ish cars (together with SLS AMG, old Porsche, old R8 too), and maybe with couple of older tracks, like Nogaro, Jarama, Slovakiaring etc. or where these cars competed back in the early 2010s.
but again, to be honest, i don't feel it necessary.
if dreaming about old cars, i'd rather like to see the FIA-GT cars from the early 2000s.

    just my personal opinion :)

Well then looking ahead we got few new cars compared to old cars.
There are various old cars that are fan favourite.
Considering we already have lot of old cars in ACC i don't think it is absurd.
we already got cars that are older than 2015 so.
I would've played iracing if it didn't have pay-to play system.
I bet if the z4 or 458 given less restrictive BoP they would be able to compete.
remember these cars i mentioned are capable of producing over 600 Hp(under 1300kg) and are developed with proper aero treatment.
Just run less restrictive BoP and i'm sure these cars can compete.
Compared to jag these cars would be much more developed. so if jag can exists then these car can exists as well.
we also got REX......so tons of old cars are already in game.

Think we are dangerously close to a wish list... haha

Lol this is indeed dangerously close to wish list.
But anyways reasoning behind to add a bmw z4 and 458 were quite simple , A high revving NA V8 flat crank engine will fill the void.
New amg and ferrari would be awesome BUT what new these 2 cars bring other than few changes here and there?
Engine is the defining characteristic of a car and since ACC do not have the engines in Z4 and 458 it would in way complete the GT3 car collection.(NA collection V12,V10,V8 both cross and flat plane crank, Flat 6 )
It is not a far fetched idea both cars raced in SRO related series, many current drivers have driven either one or both of the cars while many engineers would probably also have data/telemetry from old days.
If ACC is sticking to GT3 only might as well add some old gt3 cars.

I use to love racing the Z4 in AC1 also but won't go back there as ACC is just so much better. The fact that someone wishes Kunos would recreate their favorite car in ACC is just a tremendous compliment to everything Kunos has done. Who wouldn't want their favorite car (regardless of age) redone with the skill and dedication that Kunos puts into it. Z4 was probably my favorite too but I understand it's very unlikely to happen as they are only providing us the current cars in this series. I get that 100%, but it shouldn't stop you from dreaming of driving you favorite car with Kunos physics. Keep up the great work Kunos.

wtf are you on about, of course he's not the only one. Do you also rant "who cares" when it's about sims like GT Legends or older cars like GT1, Group C and the like added to AC? And even if, why should anyone care about your opinion, just vote with your wallet by not buying and leave it to others if they want to make or buy and enjoy the content. There's no reason to assume those additions would be on cost of other content and updates.

Anybody notice that the new tracks give a bit better FPS-numbers? At least they do on my flashed RX 5700. I tested this with FRAPS, starting in pit and then a full lap practice, so no other cars. Spa, Monza and the Nürburgring gave me 90 or 91 FPS on average.

The new tracks: Suzuka: +9, Laguna: +10, Kyalami: +12, Mount: +16.

I'm not complaining. Whatever they did with the new tracks, they should do with the old ones as well. :)
