1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Haven't you heard? The devs took their riches and are on permanent vacation somewhere tropical. We got bilked out of our money and left with nothing but a hotlap, single player simulator. If Pcars sells well enough that they remake their investments into it a few dozen times over, they might use that money to hire some of the experts from the forum to finish 1.0
    Pretty sure that is what I read when I was trolling the twitter 4chan headbook site interwebz the other day.

    Or they are still working extremely long hours with the goal being v1.0 and it will be released when they feel it is ready.

    One of those.

    I don’t know about Lamborghini but Porsche made an exclusive deal with EA years back for Need for Speed Porsche. I don’t know if Porsche ever regretted that deal or even cares but apparently they basically gave EA time unlimited exclusive rights.
    If you want Porsche in your video game you have to deal with EA and they only know one thing: Money.
    So unless your are really filthy rich and like to crawl into someone’s *** like for example Microsoft for Forza Motorsport 4 you won’t get a Porsche license.

    No one really knows what the terms of Porsche's exclusive deal with EA are, other than certain people at the two companies obviously. The details have never been made public.

    What's beyond dispute is that currently an exclusive contract does exist with EA for Porsche content.

    which can be negotiated with but I think you'll have to pay big bucks to be able to use the license then.
    I know GTR2 used to have a Porsche License (since they had those cars in-game) but when they went to steam with it they removed the cars. And Forza also had Porsche's in-game (I think it was Forza 2 or Forza 3). Since then it has been Ruf, just like GT.
