Generic Community Update: Private Lobbies

I was abroad from the end of March and before leaving my country my hope was to have the update upon my return...But here we got not even the chance at least to know something more than the "generic" date the submission "would" happen (at the time being I am seriously concerned about any of the latest post from Kunos for the latest patch planned steps and date)...

 

For me Assetto Corsa is such a nice sim you can't compare it to Project Cars. I like Project Cars don't get me wrong, but more for the lot of tracks you have than for the physics. The only thing I'm looking forward in AC is new tracks...a lot of New tracks Of course it's frustrating that Kunos has such a lame way of communicating. Hope for Kunos that the way they communicate in the Company is better then the way they communicate with their customers On the other side this would explain why it took them so long to implement the new console update

 

.... I never had any of that invisable walls or landmines so I cant really account for that.

I've heard about those invisible walls, never hit one though, and I've played it for a little while. AOR and Actrollvision have been running leagues for quite a while now on PS4 and mostly there are no issues. Seem to be strange ones. Never seen a landmine at Brno, and never seen an invisible wall at Bathurst.

 

I also ones got Hit by a landmine on Nordschleife...and I have also met invisibly Walls, had a few issues with them

 

Yes Project Cars have a lot of bugs! But i dont talk aboit bugs...i talk What Kunos can do until september to hold the players, if PC2 have a good enought FFB and Physx! And in my opinion they cant do nothing , because Assetto Corsa offers only a Good FFB and Physx...nothing else...and is sad because the dev. Team put many hard work but they make it too slow...the evolution of AC is teribly slow! And is limited by their desicion to not incluide day/night cicle and weather change..and lots of small but important other things compared to PCars serie...so basicly if PC2 is a huge improve of PC1 ...AC gone a loose lots of players...and the LONG WAITING custom lobbys and button maping gone a be for a few mounts...if they add it with the next update! In any case is good to enjoy both games but in general i think PC2 gone a offer us much more intersting Races, and gameplay on a high level of details! I own AC form early access and the evolution was good ..in many points but too slow...and now i feel some sadness , because i expect much more with AC...and obvious they focus on DLCs and other stuff and not in much more important stuff...like how to expand the gameplay to not become boring with time...and how to add a crusial settings...but now is late...to late...

 

You wonder how someone would 'insinuate' AC's FFB is superior to that of PCars'? Hum... strange enough, you don't sound as if you were trolling...

Have you ever talked to a neurologist about this problem? If an specialist helps you get better sensory processing, you may then realise the weirdness of your comment. I wish you a speedy recovery!

 

The only thing I would was the two second freeze every sometimes. Usually fixed by lowering the grid number to around 25 instead of 35 cars on track (single player). Pretty much had to run with damage off just to be sure. Whatever your thoughts on Pcars, it still should us console are perfectly capable of having loads of options. I waited until after a couple of updates before buying that game. I had such a blast with it I will probally perorder pcars 2.

 

..... through out the life span of pcars it seemed that everyone had vastly different gameply with it. Out of the thousands of different combinations of setting possible, the game play and how it felt was different for each one. Even just turning fuel and tires on or off had a great effect to how the game felt and drove. So the game pretty much felt different to everyone according to how you had the game set up with every single slider.

 

In your opinion of course as we all are untitled to one.

 

... I still have faith that this update is really coming. I havnt even started playing the game yet other just a couple of dozens laps, its installed ready to go just waiting for the update with some cockpit view options.

 

Oh, actually you sound as if you were a good neurologist. I often do also talk to myself so it might be worse than you think. I'm sure you can help me to recover sooner. Any advice is much appreciated. I also hope you feel better now, too.

 

Is good to have fight...i have it too...until end of march...when i see PC2 what dey do and change, and after talk with a Eurogamer friend who actualy test a demo of it...i lost my last faith to see AC finished...and on high level! Due our talk with him, comparing some problems in PC1 he actualy tolds me...The FFB feels way better and the cars itselfs are better...in any aspect PC2 is the finished idea of Project Cars..so basicly hes worlds was..." PC1 was a early access with Assetto Corsa and PC2 is the final product" If that is true...and he sound so exited...many people gona a left AC...because we gone a get a Finished Product or at least a game with more gameplay stuff amd experiances than waiting for a Button Mapping almost a year!

 

We have the 10th April now and "hey guys, we are going into Submission at the end of march. You will love the Update"

It can take a couple of weeks for third-party updates to be processed.

 

A lot of blah blah blah, but still no news.

 

if the update was actually submitted at the end of march, then it could be here this week. lets hope this is the case.

 

It could be a Easter bank holiday surprise. Chocolate eggs and private lobbies.

 

Strange thing about Pcars is that some users get more bugs & fails than other
I've got a friend that buyed pcars on launch and got lots of bugs and fails... He ended up to sale it when assetto corsa was launched... Now thanks that assetto didn't have custom and private lobbies he buyed the Pcars goty game... And Don't have crashes, landmines, invisible walls... Just some little bugs like other games.

Me self buyed pcars just before it received 2.0 update.... And only got one game crash (i deactivated PS4 auto cloud save because it causes problems with lot of games) and only in one online race I've encountered an invisible wall...for the rest no problems,just little bugs..

But sure it's known as project bugs
