1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Are you referring to the Autumn Nords mod available on racedepartment or the Snoopy version that came before the official laser scanned one when you say the corners are too sharp?

    This will just add new graphics. No changes track wise. Its also online compatible for this reason.

    I'm surprised the first thing you put out is horse power difference. Do you genuinely wanna know if there is any difference or are you just trolling here? I admit I am no expert in all the small details in this car of the 2 games, but we can tag people who might know a bit more. At least on my machine RF2's AC Cobra is labeled as a road car with 2 tire options while Kunos labeled its Cobra as a race car with only 1 type of tire. I would expect them to be a bit different from each other. I didn't have time to launch the game and check the default setups of these 2 cars yet but they might also be a bit different, leading to AC's car a bit less loose than the RF2 version.

    Are you the same vegaguy 5555 who posted this on the Studio397 forum?

    Is this "plowsteer" you described in Studio397 forum for the RF2's AC Cobra (and also for AC's AC Cobra, considering you said they didn't feel much different) the same behavior you tried to solve in this thread? https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/weight-transfer.42784/
    If we are gonna compare things, more specific description is gonna be more useful.

    I deleted it and reinstalled it the next day. Is that ok? I noticed my icon was black that day and now it shows the DLC's again.

    The corners just feel sharper in the Autumn version compared to the laser scanned. So I would think the laser scanned version would be closer to the real track.

    I remember that. I found the AC Cobra in rF2 tough. Actually undriveable at first. I hated this car in rF2 but eventually got it driving pretty good and was one of my favorites for a while.

    My original point was I find rF2's vintage cars in general a lot more challenging even frustrating at times than PC2 or AC.
