1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

GPU prices... is this going to kill PC gaming?

They should be lower given they are two years, old May and June 2016. Not worth buying right now. It's best to wait for something new (Turing or Volta) so you can get Pascal at discount prices. I'm waiting at least until the rumored August date or later to get a 1080TI replacement.

Yup, but usually other cryptocurrencies follow the trend of Bitcoin, so hopefully that's a good thing...

Ethereum maybe? That looks to be performing very similarly too:

(Can't find link to this year, click 1y at the top of the page to see last year's performance.)

I take RT messages with a grain (or 2 or 3 million grains) of salt, but I wouldn't be surprised. Everybody with some decent amount of common sense should know that the whole crypto-currencies are most likely a big bubble.

Although the prices in germany are pretty decent to roughly around the pre-mining prices.

    Gigabyte 1080 Windforce:

currently just under 500€ (from 3 different companies with good reputation), all-time low was 462€, but it just dipped down to that range twice around April and June 2017.

  10. Hopefully, Bitcoin will vanish for good in the not too distant future. Trading in non existent currencies is a laughable concept.

As long as people can use it to launder money it will probably stay around :(

Nvidia dropped down considerably, but Radeon cards are still way to expensive. Looking for two Vega 56 cards to replace my two 390X's. Still 800,- each... Will wait some more. Hoping they drop below the 500,- euro mark.

NVIDIA prices are fine for me now.
They're close to the 500 € mark in Germany:

But yeah...tendency is the same here: 1070 starts at ~430. Much better bang for the buck unless you fancy FreeSync.

308€ for my gtx 1060 amp! was only 20€ up from launch price, so yeah, a bit more expensive.

    Better pay 30€ (or so) more for a 1070Ti, it's 95% performance of a 1080 which is 15-20% faster than the 1070.
