Not going particularly well for Porsche and Audi in LMP1 so far.
P1 #5 Toyota, P2 #8 Audi, P3 #6 Toyota, P4 #2 Porsche, P5 #13 Rebellion, P6 #12 Rebellion, P11 #4 Bykolles, P12 #7 Audi, P22 #1 Porsche.

Do someone is subscribed to the official WEC livestream? They accept paypal? I can't choose or know the payment methods before registering and i want to know what payment methods they accept beforehand.

 

Credit card only for the website unless they changed it just recently... their website isn't the best. The way they do the payment for the streaming outside their merchandise store is not really how you should do selling within the EU... You can however pay with PayPal, etc. perfectly fine through Google/Apple store for streaming with the Android/iOS app and use crossplatform streaming to stream on PC - but it costs slightly more.

Wish they'd work a bit on their website (live timing for example also isn't the greatest, there are free event streams that have better implementations, like Bathurst 12hr or the 24h Series) but also the apps. Anyway:

The official WEC website is horrible.

Really wouldn't free streaming make sense.., the series really needs more media exposure.

 

I think so too but they seem to bet on TV broadcasting being partly free being sufficient (I don't think it is... I don't even watch TV anymore at all). I feel like they miss going with the times. Not sure how they'd be able to cover the costs otherwise but much smaller race series can do with free streaming just fine...

 

If it had decent tv coverage then OK, but it doesn't. In the UK at least WEC is hidden away on a very obscure satellite/cable channel.

The FIA need to encourage manufacturers to compete in LMP1, Nissan have gone, rumours are Audi will go next year. LMP1 is expensive surely they need some return on their cash, better promotion.

 

From all the FIA WEC races, 24h Le Mans usually has the most media coverage. And the entire race is broadcast on Eurosport.
