Add more soul to the game

Just for fun, I searched "pause" for thread titles and 20 topics came out, of which 10 (one is mine ) asking for a bindable pause/resume button shall I link them one by one for devs to finally take notice of such a trivial and basic matter? This for just dedicated topics, hell breaks loose if you search for the word inside generic topics (like this one) where this "feature" has been asked

 

A little more ambient sound like the OP suggested would add a lot. Crowd noise, announcements over the PA, pit lane sounds, etc. AC is a very sterile soundscape. It feels like you are all alone in a silent ghost town, for the most part, like playing in an empty stadium.

 

Would be awesome to see more movement and action in the general world to make it feel less static. Moving crowds, animated marshals, flags and banners that’s are affected by wind speed and direction and a generally more alive pit lane closer to the scene you would see in real life. A race engineer that talks to you would also help in the immersion, crew chief app works well for this currently.

I’m hoping to see this sort of stuff in AC2 though as probably a bit unreasonable to ask for it in the current AC, though we did get wind so animated flags to tell wind direction and strength would be handy

 

Yeah another Wishlist thread for the love of Kunos. I would like some olives on my pizza, please.

I want fireworks, solar/lunar eclipses, UFO attacks, a flight sim built into AC so you can fly to the next destination, bond like weapons to decimate the wreckers, realtime mechanics that you can chat with between sessions/races, inbuild Race team sim, real smell app to fill your room with the delicate aroma of racecraft, Brolly Dollies, Simulated play as 'Bernie Ecclestone' etc etc, working buttons on the dash/wheel (switches switch, buttons be buttons, slides slide, dials do a dialing), overly aggressive crazy drivers in online racing, Pit for Pie button, Nuclear bombs in the desert, automatic champagne delivery for the podium and a New Watch for pole/fastest lap.

edit: I know not much, should be ready by Christmas if Lord Kunos got off his fat *** and stopped racing around in all those brand new Ferrari's he now owns. His garage now dwarfs Leno's.

 

Absolutely none of the above seems unreasonable, other then the pit for pie, that one may be a bit much...

What crowd sounds and air horns, is this Madchester 1990? What for, largin' it at the Hacienda
I prefer zero crowds, like in most race meets in real life, to it having it to strain my CPU - the track with no crowds looks nicer in Sandevoerde Test Version (plenty of grass) - I wish there was a no-crowd option for lower graphics output

I think barring 3 (4 is done for by SRS), the game is as great as it is. IMO, I don't want it to become an overglorified simcade called Project Crap 2 with it's mega Hollywood blockbuster budget, polished graphics to wow the have-not into bankrupting themselves, more cars than the Sultan of Brunei can manage and a half-finished/broken package

Yeah, there are horns. But the point is, AC could do with a lot more ambient sounds, especially around pit lane, to avoid the "ghost town" feeling.

 

I've been logging 3 hours daily for at least the last year.
Assetto is the only sim there is to me, a bit OCD with it as you can see with my name. Same name on the PS4.

I would simply like to see a stat screen of sorts that includes any information about our career online/offline.
Total miles driven, friend laptimes etc.

Any kind of Leaderboard that would let us interact and encourage competition.

Regardless of what the future holds, I thank Kunos for their hard work and giving me the best drive a sim can offer.
