1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    hello

running my sim rig with triple 1080p screens thanks to a VEGA 64LC. I have been doing lots of core and memory Undervolting/Overclocking in the last few weeks and it is really fun to get as close as possible to my 1080Ti and oh boy how this crad looks superb in my case.

Now I am trying to get into the whole RADEON features like how to match EnhancedSync with my Freesync monitors (48 to 75Hz range) and what to do with Vsync in Game.

Another feature I have tried to find information about in Simracing is CHILL.It seems doing great in some game categories like FPS or 3rd person shooters to reduce GPU temps, power, helps with stuttering and keep clocks high but I have some doubt of the benefits in fast pace games like SimRacing.

I have been struggling to find relevant information around the Web so I am trying my luck here.

Anybody using it and how do you set it up in typical Sims like PCars, AC, ACC or RRE?

    thanks so much

With freesync you should disable vsync and set fps limit. I have set it to 72. If you don't limit you will be likely exceed 75fps sometimes, which then temporarily disables freesync and you will have tearing.

Afaik, enhanced sync is a feature which automatically disables vsync if fps drops below monitor refresh rate. Because we're on freesync, we don't need vsync so we don't need enhanced sync.

About chill I don't know, never used it. I always use limited fps anyway.

I am going to experiment a bit when I come back from vacation so thanks for your advice. Reading a lot about Vsync, Freesync and enhanced sync, it seems there are so many statment and personal opinions that is confusing.
I feel your suggestion makes the more sense so I will start with that and see what works best for me in AC and ACC.

With Chill,I believe it would work best with FPS or 3rd person shooter when you have somehow "breaks" during gameplay and the GPU is set a rest, not giving full power to reduce heat and temps. Not sure its applicable in Simracing and I haven't found much information from the community so I am guessing it just doesnt work while racing.
will test this by myself as well though.
    thanks again
