1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Can’t get the FPS up with Triples, CPU/GPU not being used to maximum

    Hello,

    I need help with optimizing my nvidia/acc settings because something is going on that I don't understand. I have a beefy-ish PC running 1440p triples running on Surround in windowed mode for RaceLabs overlay, and with VERY low settings on ACC, I still can't get good FPS during a race. I don't understand what is going on.

    The fps is fluctuating around 43-65 on the AI race. While I have 90-105 fps fluctuation in solo practice. I believe I should be able to have much more FPS with the following PC specs. But for some reason, I can't.

    Only things running on PC at the time were CrewChief, Racelabs and ACC.

    Dell Alienware Aurora R12
    I9-11900 KF 3.5 Ghz
    RTX 3080
    32 Gb Ram

    The Hwinfo and task manager screen grabs are from an AI race with 26 opponent cars with the following graphics settings, 5 mins into the race after PC has been running for 10 minutes.

    Cpu and Gpu isn't running hard but they aren't trying to produce more FPS either.

    MSI afterburner stats during the race can be seen in the photos as well.

    Please help!

    CPU Limit, your processor is not boosting, it only runs with 3.5GHZ max.
    Your RAM frequency also seems pretty low to me.

    Sounds to me as a CPU bottleneck with to many AI cars. You have a CPU core that maxed out at around 90% usage. While with the GPU is normal to see it pinned at 100% (if it's the bottleneck), the load on the CPU fluctuates a lot more in video games and in my experience a 90% max core usage is a CPU bottleneck. Try to lower the number of AI cars (I would suggest around 20). Cheers

    Check your Bios, XMP is not active and CPU is not boosting.
