Yes have differend button issues for this i wait so much the time when this gone a come to us and we can set up our buttons and dosent metter if we get keyboard support or not, for me is not issue change the buttons before i pick up the car , specialy for the type of car and not have a MTU recovery for exemple in car without this or a handbrake for a GT3 car...ect ect..so is must to have option and i hope we get it soon is posible , also this feture gone a solve the differend wheel buton placement (positions) and everyone can custom it how he better feels it..and not on presets set by deffaut

 

In my opinion AC have the best or one of the best FFB and Physx in this type of games and i dont care to wait years (like on PC) to be developed and to add new fetures and settings, If the Button Mapping is inside...i can enjoy it at maximum and play it daily, but unfortunate is not and this kills my enjoyment and after patch 1.9 i stop playing it (due of the layout of the buttons what we get) and is good to know they are not in incoming patch and to still looking for the next one , until they comes! Then is other story , and finally gone a enjoy the potential of this game!

 

Is it possible to add it in the next update (after "private" lobbies one)?

 

I think Its too early to say if is in next patch,due of the incoming Custom Lobbys patch and all bugs who gone a bring (if have any) also i think they gone a focus to polish it if something not work correct or must be changed! (gone a be cool if they add it to the next one, but dont expect the answer of confirmation at this point)

 

Is it possible for u guys to give us as an update head motion soo we can see around us when we are racing or drifting?

Really good request (head tracking with ps4 cam/kinect) but i dont think so! Or at least not gone a happen soon!

 

make sure, if you didn't do that already, to open a thread about it, stating.. CLEARLY:

- Platform (PS4/Xbox)
- Wheel
- Problem (including which buttons don't do what they should, which preset etc)

Be super focused in the reports, this is also valid for people with similar issues, no dramas, no flames, just a clear description and only then there will hope to see it fixed.

 

I think it's not necessary, if some presets have duplicated or missing functions or the wrong priority has been to the wrong functions we should fix that keeping the system as it is.

But, as I've said above, it's essential to have a clear description of every single problem and the hardware for which you are reporting the issue.

 

What I meant is, when you want to steer left or right in first person, the head is automatically turning. It is for PS4.

"I think it's not necessary" this scares me.. I think i see somewhere you guys are working on Button Mapping! And now you answer says differend thing! So in final at some point we go get button mapping or we not because you guys thunk is not necessary!? Im a bit confuse after all... Or is my faut and i not understand exactly your respound of it

What? I post 10 times what!? Do i post something about the question of button mapping no...so whats now the problem! I cant talk with other people for other stuff!? Are you serious!? I promise to not posting more of the same request about BM and i not doimg it because now i know they are not in the CLobbys update...but if you also do a problem because i talk with other people for other stuff this is funny! Also the forums are for discuss stuff and i think you are not the person who can say me if i go talk with people or not.. And about my last post here is because Lord Kunos says "its not necessary" and i think i not understand something or the "work in progress" about it is a big lie..and im confused if is true and they not add it never this gone a be really "cool" in the Forums, Social media and youtube.. So i umderstamd they are not in the incoming patch and thats it but with the last post of Lord Kunos now i think something differend and let see what happen...

 

I'm not sure if this is a translation issue, "I think it's not necessary" is this button mapping on consoles. If it's not necessary on consoles then why is it necessary on the pc version.

 

I hope is not what looks it...and is some kind of not understanding...and he talks about next patch is not necessary...i hope so! Otherwise this mean the "work in progress about that is a lie" and this not gone a be good...

I think this is the first time anyone from Kunos has talked about button mapping on consoles.

 

No is not somewhere i see a answer of somebody question if button mapping comes in future and they says somethimg like is "work in progress" and from there starts all this questions when this gone a happen, in forums and facebook comments! But after it is not necessary i feel pain in my eyes, if is not necessary why the people with G29 have a better button preset and with other weels like mine t300rs have a really non functional preset also REMOVED left/right look and mix of buttons who not work how they must! I cant belive this ...i hope he troll us or is missunderstand !

 

Maybe because the target devices on the consoles are known and limited, those on PC are practically unlimited. So for consoles, one (2, 3...) good layout for each wheel makes sense and for PC it makes more sense to have the user assign all the buttons.

Anyways, Stefano asked you to open report threads where you clearly point out the issues with the current button layouts and improvement ideas. You can be sure that when you do it and show the problems, Kunos will work on improvements.

This is pretty much your chance to support the devs and help them make AC better. I hope you will do it.
