1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

F1 MANAGER GAME MODE

    Hello kunos,

    do you think possible to integrate in AC a F1 manager game mode ?

    I mean the possibility to import in a dedicated mod the car engine performance coming out from a F1 manager interface inside or outside AC

    this manager section should have the usual branch of this game type such as engine development, engineers and mechanics costs so any players will have to take care of economic aspects to win a champ

    indeed will be a race day where players will drive in AC their developed car and any fault on track will be payed by their company with impact on their budget and possibility to grow

    c'mon Kunos, let's dream us further ;)

    guys out there, do you think this idea interesting ?

    What you describe is more an own game then a mode :rolleyes:
    I am quite sure it wont be included, because we want drive, not manage.

    in my proposal you'll drive also
    moreover isn't mandatory to have a dedicated section in AC but only a dedicated and protected way to get in input some data coming from a third party manager game

    A.Gamerini, I personally like this idea, I've been thinking about ideas very similar for ages. People complain about 'lack of consequences' and so get bored of the game because if you crash it's not like real life.Then I say 'how about having an avatar driver you can injure or kill with dangerous crashes?' 'How about a career mode with a budget so you can't just crash 100 times in practice and teleport back to the pits to have your car instantly fixed, but actually need to sacrifice money and time to fix?' They sound like great ideas to me, exactly a true racing sim should be, putting some consequences for poor driving back in to make it more real.

    However the F1 manager has some licensing issues with AC, but I think it would be great if it could be integrated or something similar could be integrated and designed by Kunos.

    no license issue because kunos doesn't need to copy a F1 manager they are able go create ut from scratch

    anyway kunos can go in both directions, classic and manager mode :)
