1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Generic FFB dropping to 0% when car stops. It's a bug, right?

Thanks for the good suggestion! A few guys from the 'PC world' (so to speak) like you and @Seria17hri11er, for example, make a huge difference on this forum, always genuinely willing to solve doubts through supportive and clarifying comments, without a shadow of that incomprehensible mask of veiled superiority on your faces. Thanks!

I tried the G29 on the PC and it is hugely different experience compared to PS4.

On PC the G29 is still missing any real centre wheel weight, just a degree or 2 either side of centre and things weight up nicely. The real difference with the PC is the option to increase the FFB beyond the 100% setting to give greater wheel feel. Why the PC version of AC has a slider that allows settings beyond 100% and the console versions do not is something I don't understand.

Min force is also useful and helps reduce that lack of centre weight feel but it can't completely remove it. Also increasing minimum force can send some big shocks through the wheel so that would need to be used carefully.

It would be even better if the consoles could have some form of the Logitech/Thrustmaster wheel app where centre spring and spring return weight could also be adjusted. On the PC the very same wheels we use on console can be fettled to give weight and feedback to suit even the fussiest user. On the consoles we get a one size fits all solution that needs some serious tailoring.

Thanks for this test. I was really eager to know how differently one of the newest Logitech wheels would respond when compared between a PC and some of the consoles. That's an important finding that helps strengthen the concept that consoles should also have a few more FFB settings. Thx
