XB1 G923 crashing Xbox series x

Hey yes that works for me I and a practice session in a race weekend also seems to be ok. From my limited testing so I think I will practice that way until it’s fixed.

So after some more searching and testing I was able to find a post on the microsoft side,
The problem was reported for other games, but all for the wheel g923.

I followed the steps to join the insider program, and did some testing.
It seems to be fine, and one of the feedback questions on the Insider hub was related to the wheel performance.

Step 1. Download Xbox Insider Hub app from Microsoft Store on Xbox One.
Step 2. Once download is finished, open the app and navigate to Previews and join Xbox Update Preview.
Step 3. Proceed through the acknowledgement steps and once finished, it should enroll you in the Xbox Update Preview Omega group. Note: You can check this by clicking Manage within the Xbox Update Preview program in the Xbox Insider Hub app.
Step 4: My console immediately performed an installation process at the end of which the console rebooted and I signed back in as normal. Note: There was a message somewhere that I saw mentioning the approval can take up to two hours, but mine seemed pretty much instantaneous.

 

I have just upgraded my wheels to a Fanatec. This issue has gone away.

I can also confirm that WRC Generations which has a very similar issue has also resolved itself.

This issue appears to be either a Logitech issue or a Microsoft issue.

 

May 19, 2023.....Just wanted to chime in with an update: Racing on Xbox Series X, and Logitech Pro Wheel and Pedals. I have the Latest ACC Update, Latest Logitech Update, and my Xbox is Up to Date......... Assetto Corsa Competizione STILL CRASHES!! Doesn't matter if you are in Practice, Racing, Online, etc......the game is STILL BROKEN. I even tried shutting off TRUFORCE on the wheel (which Kunos recommended).....still NO GO. Game crashes mid game. Very frustrating. Microsoft.....Please make sure the new FORZA is polished and not plagued with all of these issues. Looking for a NEW game to swap to. We need a reliable, playable game!

 

I wonder if this is just a generic Logitech issue. I can fully confirm that after hours of play I have not had any issues in ACC or the similar issues I has having in WRC Generations since I switched to Fanatec.

 

You're probably correct. I would lean more towards a Logitech issue. Unfortunately.....it's a know issue, just no solution yet. Here's to hoping it getting fixed one day. Love the Gear, Console, and Game. Just hate the unreliable gameplay.

 

I’m still having the same problems as all of you. Tried all the fixes. Utterly fed up with it.

 

I hate to say it, but I think after the latest update, this is as good as it gets. I am still having system crashes, framerate stutter, etc. It is what it is. I'll just play it for now and pray that the new Forza Motorsports is the Sim us Console users have been waiting for. Good luck and let us know if you find the answer to fix ACC.

 

I have to say this is pretty pathetic. I’m not sure exactly whose fault it is but it’s downright shameful that even years down the line we have the same issue.
