He explained it, the reason for it is to separate the two things.
Stiffer springs increases ride height, but to take ride height out as a factor on the setup so you can be sure the difference in the handling results from the stiffer springs alone and not the change in ride height / suspension geometry.


I guess the way to go is finding the correct spring rates first that suit you and change the ride height in a later step.

 

Also it changes the whole alignment of the tires, camber ( and toe probably)

With @Aristotelis videos I literally shaved a lot of seconds & clear a lot of special events with ease. In my case it was clearly a setup & a clear lack of car knowledge rather than driving.

 

Note that in the 935, you have the ARB as well, which does influence the weight transfer. So in cars like the 935, it can (but doesn't have to) be better to change that instead of the springs.
