Graphic issue with wipers on Ferrari 458 GT2 on VR

Hi,

I see a graphic issue with Ferrari 458 GT2 when I use VR
I have not this in single screen (no VR)

Bug looks like an artifact with wipers at 1-2 meters above the front glass with lines between glass and wipers
Even when I don't drive the Ferrari but an opponent does, I see also the bug on his car

It's difficult to describe but I can't put screenshots because when I take a screenshot (F8), the bug is not displayed

Do you have also this ?
Any idea what cause this ? May be a setting in CSP ?

I use CSP 1.76 + Sol 2.2

you will need to remove wiper related stuff in the extention folder of the car.

It's Ferrari 458 GT2 and it's Kunos out of box car. There is no extensions folder for this car
Do you also have the issue ?

 

My mistake, you are correct, this one is a mystery to me as well. no extension folder, removing wiperksim does not do anything, it happens only in VR. if you use just one eye in VR it is correct as well, so definitely something related to VR and that wiper.

Depends on where the issue comes from. You can check the configs of the cars in Content Manager in Settings -> Custom Shaders Patch -> Car Configs. Scroll down the list and make sure that the rightmost column displays a green 'yes' instead of a red 'older' in any case you can right click the entry and click 'reinstall' to redownload the latest version of the config.

If you want to try the car without the config go to \Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\loaded and delete the file ferrari_458_gt2.ini. If the car has no errors then, you know the config is to blame.

If you'd like to redownload the complete car from Steam rename/delete the car's folder from \Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\cars and do a Steam File Integrity check.

 

from what I can see, it is there for every one with VR.

I have found that disabling Post-Processing, bug disappears
I have also found this way : In CUSTOM SHADERS PATCH > GENERAL PATCH SETTINGS, uncheck Shaders Patch Active checkbox
So, it sounds like more a CSP issue than an AC issue ?
I have tried disabling several extensions in CSP tabs, but I have not been able to fix the issue having Shaders Patch Active

 

Nice, thank you for sharing. Disabling Post-Processing is simple enough to correct for when we want to drive one of those car that has the issue, I found out the URD 2018 DTM Mercedes has it also.

Disabling Shaders Patch is more of an issue for me as it also implies disactivating a few apps and off course reactivating them after when reactivating SP when driving a car which does not have the issue.

One of the update in CSP will probably fix it, but for now at least we have a solution.
