1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Sorry for the stupid question...but there was a lot of talking about TC , and I´m pretty "lost in translation" :(
    For example, there are 12 values for the 488 (and 8 for the Lambo).

    Setting TC=1 means more or less TC, in comparison to greater values? There is any kind of performance penalty, depending on the chosen TC?
    The so called Factory TC... whats the value? 1?
    What is the default value?

    Any help is very appreciated.

    TC - Traction control, it should be very self explanatory.
    The higher the value the less help you get from the system, 12 is like almost none help.
    I don't know about any penalty using TC tho...;)

    Has anyone been able to get back to their old pace with setup changes? I have been playing around with setup changes however I still find that my old setups still feel the best and are the quickest, however they are still 1.5 secs slower than before the update. I almost feel like I am missing something. What have ya'll been experiencing?

    Yes and no, depends how you think about it. The inside tyre produces less grip now but it's camber angle (usually positive) is more important. Pre-patch optimizing camber on outside tyre was the "only" thing that mattered for lateral grip with symmetrical setup.

    Georg, your guide is quite interesting. Additionally i had to lower rear ARB and springs a bit, diff ratios are 50/50 now. But especially your infos about the dampers have been very useful. Could you please explain a bit more what the 3 Hz ride frequenzy thing is about?

    I actually read the tech papers from optimumg. They explain the ride frequency there quite good... Did you ever explore the max ride frequency for the GT3 cars in AC? 25 years of sim racing, and never investigated into this ;)
