1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Hi all, I recently acquired a Logitech G29 + pedals and got a sweet discount on AC Ultimate for just over a fiver... so here I am finally learning how to sim-race. Apparently the game is somewhat imbalanced in career mode, and I'd like to show you my hotlap on the Imola - KTM race @ 100% AI strength, after a couple of days practice. The lead car constantly averages at around 1:57 plus or minus a sec, but I barely reach the 2:01 (only once got down to around 2:00 but lap was invalidated by a bit too much curb at Variante Alta).

While I know I could lower the AI difficulty and / or add assists (I'm racing with RSR Pro rank eligible options at the moment), seems to be a bit beside the point, especially with a look to get into online racing.

Here is the video of the hotlap, would love to hear what you think about the lap and what I should be focusing on to improve! Bonus points if you can post a sample video!

At variante alta you should aim more at the first kerb on the right, the way you took it you lost a lot of momentum. Also on the last turn you coul have won at least 3-4 tenth of a second by going on the throttle earlier. It's a pretty clean lap but you're still a bit under the limit of the car, I'm pretty sure you can brake at least 2-3m later at each turn and the same goes for the throttle application. Keep us posted with the progression :)

Yes @Cirith Ungol that's very true, it's an twitchy car and on a race I feel like minimizing risks, but re-watching it, surely, it looked like a cautious lap. On the setup side, I lowered the ride height to around 15/18 and compensated for camber and toe, and lowered tire pressure a bit, should I look at something else on the setup side?
