League and TT racing

I know the detail for AC console are not out in the wild yet , however if like us you want to race and compete against like minded individuals, why not pay us a visit at http://consoleracing.boards.net/.

We are a small band of racers who like both league racing and TT and whilst we have declined in numbers as Pcars has become a distant memory for some we are still alive and kicking and are looking for others to join us to shape the events and competitions we will run with AC.

We can run our own organised events but also allow you to use our boards for your own events, within the general guidelines

The aim of CR is to provide a hub that will create events, both casual and competitive, catering for a range of racing abilities, for casual racing, Time Trial or structured leagues

I've been a member of CRF for a while now. It's a mature and friendly place for digital petrol heads to meet, converse and put your times to the trial! It's a small group but it's an excellent place to be with members of varied skill. There's clean racing with a respectful group of adults, hopefully when AC drops we'll have a chance to spar on track! If that sounds up your street then drop by and say hello in the new members section, a warm welcome awaits!

 

Like Innerspace I have been a member of CRF since it's early days and have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it. We've all had some fun with the various competitions there and enjoyed a nice bit of banter as well. It would be good to see some Assetto guys join us as we are very keen on getting something fired up as soon as possible with the new game when it hits the consoles. All ideas and suggestions are welcomed and considered so don't be shy. Pop along and see what we're about and help to make it grow into a vibrant virtual racing community with Assetto Corsa at it's core.

We get copies this weekend (amazon stick to,the embargo !) So we should have a better understanding after the weekend as to what we can organise

 

Despite the lack of private lobbies and leaderboards for the Hotlap mode we can still get some competiton going... keep your eyes open here for something soon..

The game is too good to not enjoy it with some form of competition and a we can come up with some basic rules for everyone to adhere to so we are all racing off the same page.

Of course actually racing on track together is a bit difficult at present with no way to organise our own races but maybe we can still use the public servers to get together and test it out.

 

With the new Xboxone update bringing clubs,will this league be creating a club? Might be easier to keep in contact with people wanting to participate in races.

 

Anything that helps make it easier will be looked at but the forum we have is a good place to start
