LMP?

Hi guys!
I just want to ask if there are some news about LMP cars in AC. Can we drive soon one of them in AC?

This page isn't updated, there are other cars, like Corvette

 

It's updated for every car that will be in V1.0 except for the 'Vette. There won't be an LMP in V1.0.....

 

Wait for the next voting.
After the Dreampack DLC there will be another and i hope Le Mans wins with some LMP cars like Audi R18.

Audi R18 got around 19%. Next vote maybe he will make it and look at Le Mans 10%, second most voted track last time.
Group C and Le Mans = 400km/h would be amazing

 

LMP1's a kinda funny class, I reckon. The cars get very few outings and there's (recently, at least) a serious performance mismatch between the things. Also, the speed differential between them and the GT cars is mental enough to make them a pretty hairy prospect in sim multiclass.

LMP2, on the other hand, would make for some real entertainment. They also have the added bonus of not, IMHO, looking bloody terrible.

 

LMP2 looks the same as LMP1.......

And there probably won't be a "Serious performance mismatch" this year, since there are 2 LMP1 classes, and the regulations are VERY different compared to 2013.

And the speed difference will sort out the men from the boys.

The recent Audis and Peugeots still ming though, I reckon.

 

Lol there's no such thing as a recent Peugeot...... They stopped (factory) racing back in 2011....

 

I'm 40. 2011 is recent. Group C's still recent enough to not be historic. They didn't ming. They were cool as something that's been in the freezer for three weeks thanks to tech regs that weren't a load of excrement.

Anyhoo, to go for really seriously recent, the Toyotas minged, and by the looks of it the new Porsche will ming. It'll probably also be rather boringly stuffed by whatever upturned farting bath tub Audi show up with this year.

 

So long as they are petrol lmp cars I would like to see them included in the game, but group c cars like 787b, c9, lc2 and 962c would surely be better inclusions.

 

Sadly, when the iRacing guys went to talk to the license holders at Le Mans, they said it was a LOT of money. And that's for iRacing.....Think about how much it'd be for the 10 man team at Kunos...... I doubt we'll officially get Le Mans, but @Yetisaj is working on a mod that looks really good

 

afaik, Corvette will be the part of the DLC package, not in released 1.0

 

Would prefer faster GT's (GT3 dont give me the goose speed- and acceleration-wise) and old GT's/Touring Cars. But wouldnt complain about some LMP1/2's, especially not older ones, where they werent in the competetion with the F1 to build the ugliest cars.

just realize about Vette in #1 poll too. I think ZEOD is Hybrid LMP1 or LMP2 class

Yes, Group C are looking better:


and they were faster on straight and the sound.
Audi Diesel sounds very boring.

As i noticed:
on virtualr a guy and his group is working on Group C Mod for AC, rF2.
@Yetisaj is working on a mod for Le Mans. ty mclaren for the info!
