Generic Logitech G29/G290 no way to change DOR

I own a G29 and its a pity that you CAN NOT change the DOR, if you are on the Console Version.
Game is unplayable for me with 900degree, especially drifting and low performance cars with full 900DOR.
I wont even touch the game for now nor buy any DLCs, until the DEVs decide to make the game more "user friendly" und give us more options how to play, not how we should play. Every other single Racing Game I have played (PCars, Dirt Rally, WRC5, F1 2016, Drive Club etc...) gives the user the options to change the DOR AND there are many wheels on the market, which can change the DOR on the fly(most Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec), but for those who dont own such a wheel, are clearly in the disadvantage.
Of course it needs to be as realistic as possible...as I said most people still have the option to easily change the DOR on the fly so that is not even an argument that SELFISH THINKING.
SO PLEASE KUNOS GIVE US THE OPTION TO CHANGE THE DOR.

@sseki Have you tried change the sensitivity on the wheel itself? See the link below for the G29 method of changing.

I change the sensitivity on my Logitech T300RS to 900°. The only possible negative effect you may have is that the incar driver's hands won't match the wheel on a 1:1 basis. I use the dash cam so it doesn't bother me.

 

I take it you mean Thrustmaster, as Logitech do not make a T300RS. Unless you purchased a very dodgy ripoff.

And the guy is on console so that link is not much use to him being only relevant to PC use of G29. Don't know why the game is not sorting the DOR out to the IRL numbers for him though. Thought that was fixed. Unless he is looking to mess with the IRL DOR numbers?.

 

Yes, I am on the console version and used to drive with less DOR on other games. Especially when I am trying to drift in AC I find it very hard to turn the wheel that fast lock to lock and it is getting very loud when I am doing so. With the gamepad I was drifting like a boss yesterday after giving up with the wheel but it wasnt fun. The ONLY thing I enjoy in this game is the Exos Car (due to its lower DOR), gives me a smile in my face which I dont get in other games. AC is the best Racing Sim Experience I have ever played (reminds me a bit of Ferrari titles from System 3) and I want to enjoy and support it but I am really pissed that you cannot edit the DOR in the Console Version. It would change EVERYTHING to me... guess I need to buy a T500Rs since I Kunos most probably wont care about this "issue".

 

When you drift i recommend to make ffb als low as possible then it's lot easier to drift.
