1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I want to get a set of headphones to play AC with, I feel like I'm not hearing every thing with my speakers.
Is there anything you guys recommend getting.
    Price budget of £150

Sennheiser PC360, good & precise sound with a seriously good microphone .
Already am on my second, first one held about 3 years as one of the membranes was starting to give out (shouldn´t have cleaned my ears that often on full volume^^)

So what you really want is this...

    Audio-Technica ATH-AG1 Premium Gaming Headset
    http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25384

The mic is meant to be decent too - for when you're racing with buddies.

For the record - I have steelseries 7H at the moment - but these Audio Technicas will be my next purchase.

I've also owned Bose QuietComfort, Turtlebeach PX5, Beyerdynamic DT990 pro - all reasonably high end.

Any phones which are marketed as gaming headphones are going to be utter garbage imho. If you're after great sound quality you can't go far wrong with Grado.

I use their SR60i for racing and hifi duties and they are wonderful and their SR80i are supposed to be even better. You will also want to get a decent soundcard or you'll be wasting your money buying headphones.

Generally I would agree - but the Audio Technica ones are audiophile headphones with a mic. Audio Technica added the microphone because so many people were using their ATH studio monitoring headphones for gaming because of the sound quality.

I could not recommend an audio technica enough. And if you don't care about sound leakage and hearing things in the room (like talking), get their open headset. An open headset makes the soundstage super immersive, plus they go great with music as well.

the sound isn't very good or complete yet, would invest too much if it's only for AC

I use Audio Technica ATH-AD700 headphones with a Creative Soundblaster Z the AD's have no mic but the SB comes with a directional beam forming mic that works and works well. Because the Z allows dynamic switching between headphones and speakers I can leave the headphones permanently attached. The Z has a 600 ohm headphone amplifier although the ATH-AD700's don't need that much to drive them.

I've had a Sennheiser PC360 headset it had good sound but not in the same league as the ATH-AD700's in terms of sound stage and no where near as comfortable to wear.

not much of an audiophyle so I went for GAMING with this:
    http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g430-7-1-surround-sound-gaming-headset
i think it's worth it's money (half of your budget)
explosions are ace and you can hear from which direction the sounds came
    good mic as well
for listening to music as well I suggest you keep looking for other headsets though
    (especially rock)

Yeah, I'm happy with my Sennheiser HD280s (although they're a bit too flat for gaming since apparently gaming headphones really boost the bass)

There are some very good, very high-end recommendations here. My 2c: I really like my Logitech G35. It's durable and performs flawlessly. With Logi mouse. keyboard and wheel/pedals, I can avoid having too much competing software governing these peripherals, too.

i can approve it. Sounds are better if not using a headset IMO. I use more the big speaker for AC, sounds way better.

Using Steelseries myself, and well pleased with them. Even comfortable to wear over a period of time.

The one thing I would avoid is anything with more than 2 speakers/drivers.

If the component cost is $100 then say $50 per speaker is good.

If it was 7.1 (so maybe 5 drivers per ear) it becomes $10 per speaker.

If rather listen to $50 drivers than $10 drivers.

Also, I don't think you can get better than the Audio Technicas I mention.

(Just remembered I have senheisser hd160s too)
