1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

More Official Drift Cars in the Future ?!

    So now that Kunos has some Nissan and Toyota Licenses,
    might there be new official KS Drift cars to come?

    The AE86 is a legend in drifting and the Supra and GTT Skylines are used aswell.

    I would like to know your opinion on that.

    Drifting has a quite big community in AC and I think I can say everyone would be happy to have some diversity from the always-used-M3 E30 Drift :)

    Also I heard that P.Cars is gonna get a Drift Car DLC - why not AC aswell ;)

    Drag isnt done by anybody i think - but drifting: if you look up the drifting servers, theres actually 2 that are mostly well populated and like 5 more where there are 5 or less people in it.
    On the Nurburgring Trackday servers i see people drifting around. There are a lot of "unofficial" drift car mods, but not all have them so theyre not as popular.

    Drifting is very popular in AC, but it isn't very popular among the normal "racers", it's a bit of a different community.I may be wrong, but that's what I've noticed so far.

    As much as I love drift cars, I enjoy drifting normal cars much, much more.They're not as predictable, they are soo different between each other, it's just much more fun imho.To be honest, if we could get another Nissan, I'd cheer for the S15 or the R32 GTR, gorgeous designs and very capable cars.

    In a way perhaps they wouldn't have to make a full on dreampack dlc. But a drift mini-dreampack. There are plenty mods of drift tracks, touges, downhills, hillclimbs, so I think the real appeal would mainly just be official drift cars. Or continue with the step versions for Drift version. Although I guess the appeal is also in the car looks and all its add-ons/tuning.

    Agreed! GT86 with a drift version and the upcoming Japanese cars are perfect. Yes some cars are driftable, and lots of fun, but not on a level where you can have tandems or a step above the E30.
