The North American Grand Prix Monday night open wheel series returns to the historic Spa '66 Circuit for round five of the championship this evening.

Luis Nieto made it two wins in a row last week after a dominating performance at Monaco. In a race that saw several early retirements, it was Luis Nieto who stood out above the rest of the field by staying out of trouble and driving a near perfect race at a track that he admitted to not enjoying very much. Nieto, who qualified second to Eiran Parsons, managed to get past Parsons exiting turn one and never looked back, leading all but one of the scheduled forty-five laps. Nieto's teammate, Ronny Nunez also put together a solid performance last week finishing second making for a Monty Python Racing one-two. Chris Moses battled back from an incident in the first stint with a lapped car to bring home third.

After four rounds, Ronny Nunez leads the drivers championship with seventy-eight points, five points ahead of second place Chris Moses. The big one-two finish last week by Luis Nieto and Ronny Nunez has moved them to the top spot in the team championship with 139 points, seven points ahead of Chris Moses and Matt Taylor of Precision Motor Racing.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's round five from Spa '66. The racing begins at 9pm eastern with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 150km race.

Unlike the modern and safe version of Spa, the '66 layout is incredibly fast and completely unsafe. Just finishing tonight will be an accomplishment.

We hope you're able to tune in tonight and every Monday. Don't miss a second of the racing here at NAGP! Follow us on Twitch and get notified when we go live!

Super Pole for round five of the North American Grand Prix Thursday night GT league takes place this evening from the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Tonight's event marks the twenty-eighth running of the 'Mid-Season Classic' here at NAGP which has been a permanent fixture on the Thursday night calendar dating back to 2007.

Last week in Montreal, Luis Nieto had a masterful run in his McLaren 650S winning from pole and leading all of the scheduled forty-six laps earning maximum points for the round. Nieto was not the only driver to post a great result, The Rowdy Burns Racing Team squad had their best combined finish of the season thus far. The Corvette C7-R drivers Kevin Kirkbride and Andrew Adamson finished second and third respectively and as a result, moved into a tie for second place in the team championship.

After four rounds completed, David Poel leads the drivers championship by five points over Eiran Parsons in second place. The championship remains very close as less than twenty points separates the top six drivers in the standings. In the team championship, 05 Motorsports' David Poel and Andrew Werner lead overall with 131 points. Rowdy Burns Racing Team, M&M Racing and Gotta Go Bye! are all tied for second with 82 points.

We hope you can join us on NAGPTV for complete coverage of tonight's super pole qualifying from Spa starting at 9pm eastern. The night begins with single lap qualifying. The top two drivers from the session will guarantee their front row starting positions for the 400km feature race on January 5th. The remainder of the field's starting position will be based on their finishing results of the thirty minute sprint race which follows the single lap qualifying portion of the night.

Super pole always produces great racing action, especially at Spa. We hope you're able to tune in tonight and every Thursday. Don't miss a second of the racing here at NAGP! Follow us on Twitch and get notified when we go live!

The holiday break is over! We here at North American Grand Prix hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Now that that is out of the way, it's time to get back to racing!

Round six of NAGP's Monday night F312 open-wheel series gets underway this evening from the twisty Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. If you're not racing, then the only way to catch the great action from tonight's race is on NAGPTV starting at 9pm eastern with qualifying followed immediately after by the 150km race.

When we last hit the track two weeks ago, Matt Taylor survived and conquered the historic Spa '66 circuit winning for the first time this season from pole position. A race that proved once again to be a bit too much for some to handle as only ten of the twenty-two drivers managed to take the checkered flag. The number of finishers is actually an improvement from last season and much better than the actual race that took place many years ago where John Surtees won in the Ferrari in torrential rain with only five drivers taking the checkers out of the eighteen that started.

Luckily for the guys tonight, Zandvoort will not be as risky of a circuit to drive compared to our last two events. That is not to say it will be easy. The circuit is very demanding on tires and difficult to get around in the 312's. It will certainly be a busy night in the office for the drivers.

We hope you're able to tune in tonight and every Monday. Don't miss a second of the racing here at NAGP! Follow us on Twitch and get notified when we go live!

Tonight, the 28th running of the mid-season classic returns to Spa-Francorchamps for round five of the North American Grand Prix Thursday night GT series!

Two weeks ago in the super pole qualifying event for tonight's race, we witnessed a shocker as Al Marimon took home his first career GT pole position in the Aston Martin. Marimon edged out second place qualifier Jon Ludden in the Mercedes AMG by just over a tenth of a second as the two locked in their front row starting positions for tonight's feature race. It was Marimon who then got out to the early lead in the qualifying race that followed and never looked back. Marimon maintained a three second lead over Ludden for much of the twelve lap sprint. Marimon took home the win and valuable bonus points for the event. Ludden finished the night in second while Ian Jolicoeur in the McLaren marched his way through the field from tenth on the grid to take home third.

Be sure to join Marty U'Ren and Jon Wathen on NAGPTV starting tonight at 9pm eastern for complete coverage of tonight's 400km event. Spa is the race that every driver circles on the calendar. It has been the traditional fifth round event on Thursday night's dating back to 2007. Spa is one of the premier sports car races every driver wants to win. A true test of endurance and skill.

The historic Silverstone '67 circuit in England will play host this evening to round seven of the North American Grand Prix Monday night open wheel series, and at the same time, marking the series' first ever visit to this classic venue.

It was all Chris Moses last week at Zandvoort as the Ohio native dominated every session on his way to winning his second race of the season. Moses began the night by claiming his first pole position of the season by nearly eight tenths over second place Eiran Parsons. Following qualifying, Moses rocketed away from the field to start the race and was ten seconds clear of the field by lap twelve for his first pit stop. That gap over second place doubled for Moses by the time he entered the pits for his second stop. Moses cruised to victory lane from there finishing twenty-seven seconds ahead of second place and in the process scored maximum points for round six. Ian Jolicoeur, one of the few drivers in the field who opted for a one stop strategy, drove brilliantly, managing to make his soft tires last a whopping eighteen laps in his first stint followed by a seventeen lap second stint for a season best second place finish from fourth on the grid. Matt Taylor overcame some trouble early in the race to battle back and finish on the final step of the podium.

After six rounds, the top three drivers in the championship are separated by a mere thirteen points. Ronny Nunez leads with 112 points followed by Matt Taylor in second with 102 points and Chris Moses third with 99 points.

In the team championship, Precision Motor Racing's Chris Moses and Matt Taylor have regained the top spot in the championship as they now lead with 202 points. Monty Python Racing's Ronny Nunez and Luis Nieto are second with 183 points.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's race from Silverstone '67. The racing begins at 9pm eastern with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 150km race.

Silverstone '67, a very fast layout, which some are calling the warm up for Monza, is shaping up to be a close and exciting race as practice times leading up to this event have been very close. We're looking forward to calling this one from the broadcast booth.

Tonight, the North American Grand Prix Thursday night GT league will be in Barcelona, Spain for round six of the championship at the demanding Circuit de Catalunya. Tonight's race also marks NAGP's 1000th race dating back to April of 2007 when the league was formed.

Last week at Spa, we witnessed an outstanding 400km endurance event which was won by Eiran Parsons in the Aston Martin. Parsons' teammate and Pole sitter Al Marimon was black flagged for jumping the start which immediately shuffled him back to tenth after serving a drive through penalty. The penalty handed the lead of the race over to Jon Ludden in the Mercedes AMG who led for all of his first stint. After the first round of pit stops, Ludden made an uncharacteristic mistake under braking at the end of the Kemmel straight which handed the lead over to Parsons. Parsons continued to lead the second stint as McLaren driver Peter Szabo began to claw into Parsons' lead as the drivers made their final round of pit stops. Szabo managed to close the gap to under six seconds with six laps to go but after an incident with a lapped car, Szabo's chances were all but squashed dropping him to sixth after the incident. The incident with Szabo left David Poel, Al Marimon, Chris Moses and Jon Ludden set up for a great finish as the four were under two seconds apart as they battled it out for the last two steps on the podium. Poel in the Porsche managed to fend off Marimon in the closing laps as the two finished second and third while Moses in the Viper took home fourth just ahead of Ludden.

The win for Parsons, his second this season, puts him tied for the lead in the drivers championship with David Poel with 87 points. Chris Moses is third in the championship with 68 points.

Gotta Go Bye!'s Eiran Parsons and Al Marimon have managed to close within thirty-two points of team championship leaders 05 Motorsports' David Poel and Andrew Werner who are leading with 161 points.

Join Marty U'Ren and Jon Wathen on NAGPTV this evening for complete coverage of round six from Barcelona. Coverage begins at 9pm eastern with qualifying followed immediately after by the 200km race.

It is truly a milestone night as we celebrate our 1000th race. Amazingly enough, some of the drivers racing tonight competed in close to all of them!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night GT series travels to Italy this evening for round seven of the championship at the challenging Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello.

Last week at Barcelona, Luis Nieto took home the big win in NAGP's 1000th race after fending off Kevin Kirkbride in what was a titanic battle for most of the forty-three lap event. Nieto in the McLaren 650S, qualified in third and quickly took over the second position from Kirkbride in the Corvette C7R on the opening lap. Jon Ludden in the Mercedes AMG, who qualified on pole, suffered a technical failure on lap twelve forcing him to retire early from the race. Nieto took over the lead from Ludden on lap thirteen and from there the fight was on. Nieto, who was carrying 40kg of success ballast for the race, maintained a gap of just over one second for the remainder of the first stint. After pit stops were completed, Nieto remained in the lead with with Kirkbride closing on him lap after lap. With four laps to go, Nieto's lead shrunk to under a second as Kirkbride, eager for his first win, was unable to make his way around Nieto. Nieto finished the race just five tenths of a second ahead of Kirkbride in second. Chris Moses in the Viper, who himself was in contention in the first stint, found himself in traffic after an early stop and was unable to recover the time lost. Moses finished the night in third.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's round seven at Mugello. Join Jake Feimster and Jon Wathen starting tonight at 9pm eastern with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the thirty-nine lap race.

Mugello is a circuit that rewards clean driving as tire management will be crucial for a solid result.

The North American Grand Prix Monday night open wheel series returns to action this evening for round nine from the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

After a disappointing early retirement at Silverstone two weeks ago, Eiran Parsons rebounded in the best possible way by nabbing his first win of the season last week at the Nordschleife. Parsons set the tone early in qualifying by earning his second pole position of the season with a blistering lap of 7:51.898, nearly three seconds ahead of second place qualifier Chris Moses. Parsons got off on the back foot however to start the race as Chris Moses jumped out to an early lead with Parsons following close behind in pursuit. A mistake on lap one by Moses allowed Parsons, Ronny Nunez and Luis Nieto past. This race ultimately came down to strategy. While most of the field opted for a two stop strategy for the seven lap race, Parsons was one of the only drivers on track who elected to go with a one stop strategy. A risky call due to the significant tire wear and loss of grip on the fourth lap but Parsons managed to carefully get around the ring unscathed and pitted from the lead on lap four. Nunez and Nieto took over the top two positions after Parsons' pit stop but both quickly relinquished the lead and handed the eventual win to Parsons on lap five during their second stop. The win for Parsons put him back in title contention with four races remaining. Teammates Nunez and Nieto finished second and third and remain close behind Precision Motor Racing for the top spot in the team championship.

After eight rounds, Ronny Nunez leads the drivers championship with 144 points. Matt Taylor is second nine points behind Nunez. Only five points separate the top two teams in the team championship with Precision Motor Racing's Chris Moses and Matt Taylor leading Ronny Nunez and Luis Nieto of Monty Python's Racing by only five points.

NAGPTV is your home for complete coverage of round nine from the Red Bull Ring this evening starting at 9pm eastern. The night begins with 25 minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 150km race.
