Generic New AI bug

hi guys, try this...
Zandvoort with the ford escort mk1 at normal difficulty setting and with cars of the same class...
You'll see in few turns that the little fiat 500 abarth are blocking huge 911...the 911 don't try to pass the fiat...only in straight you'll see that
Is that a bug or fiat 500 are seriously little monsters?!?

 

Yeah, it's really happening and it's been reported before, like in the thread below:

They might fix it in the next update... who knows?

 

Hundreds of things like this happen when you use AC mods.

First advice is, don't use them unless you have to

Second, don't combine them in multiclass

Third, avoid AI, most more are ok in multiplayer only

Last, prepare to suffer sound compatibility pain.

4TH, make sure you know It's the console version and no mods.

Sorry, hijacking. Not a PC thread, I know, but this baffling amount of misinformation needs to be dealt with...

Actually, with the exception of not racing multiclass, everything you said is just plain wrong.
"Hundreds of things like this happen when you use AC mods. Don't use mods unless you have to"? Looks like you have lots to learn about modding AC, it's by far the most user-friendly sim/game I've ever had the pleasure to mod. You're missing out.
"Avoid AI"? The AI are quite excellent and keep improving with every AI update. No race sim AI are perfect, and as long as you set AI correctly (and don't run multiclass, for now), singleplayer AC is fantastic.
"Sound compatibility pain"? What problems are you having with 'sound compatibility'? This one I legit just don't understand what you mean.

 

Happens all the time, regardless of class, car or track. Multi-class or Single Make.
The AI sometimes won't even overtake on the Hangar straight at Silverstone! They just sit behind you like the polite bunch they are. It's not good.

 

Yeah, dude, wish I had time to argue about this but I don't, don't come here often; all this has happened to me and have repeated after restarts to confirm, like @Plato99 also did; pretty embarrassing.

Hey, I use and enjoy all sims and not much into fanboyism, but consumers need to know about big deffects, and most of the time developers already do, and very possibly are already working on a long term fix.
