It's funny that you fail to see the irony in you using that meme as your mic drop. More apropos than you seem capable of grasping.

 

Anyway... If we can get back from the pointless discussion I'd like to share a bit of a wild (perhaps stupid) idea.
I'm assuming that ACC will have a safety ranking as well as a performance rating system. One thing that is praised in good AI is when it makes human-like mistakes with realistic frequency. So one thing we could have is a system that monitors the frequency with wich players of different ranks make mistakes. So if you're playing with the hardest AI, it would mimic the frequency of mistakes of players from the highest level. The easiest AI would make mistakes as frequently as players of lower levels (just not the lowest, otherwise we'd have AI replicating AC public servers).

It would also be cool if there was a hotlap leaderboard, then the devs could record lines from the fastest laps and use that as the AI line, so instead of having a single AI line that the AI will use on every lap, it could record a few different lines from hotlaps and randomize between them for each lap to give them a more human behavior.

One thing I also miss from AC is the AI taking the inside line to defend their position, although this one shouldn't be too hard to replicate and shouldn't require any clever data from players.

So yea, I don't think it's possible to replicate human behavior through AI, but I think by gathering some data from the players, the AI could be given some really cool organic characteristics.
