1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Please, ADD Pitch configuration!

Hello Guys, i'm playing Assetto Corsa since 2015-2016 and Pitch configuration is very importante in Racing simulators, i didn't find this option in ACC, and think will be good to everyone if this function is added.

Ah, just found this thread after searching for any reference to the word "pitch" on the forum.

The problem I have, there are three different in car views which have massively different pitch. I am using the first of these currently and the pitch is fine. I would like to try the other two, but the second and third of these both have the pitch looking right down into the car, which makes the actual view of what is outside the car sit way up in the top part of my screen, and I totally can't drive like that.

Note, I haven't tested yet, but this value seems to be one global value which I assume will change the pitch for all views, when really I need to adjust it per viewpoint otherwise I have to render useless the view i am currently using in order to test another viewpoint.

Further to this, I hope we can soon adjust the pitch whilst on track, changing a value in an ini file is going to take a lot of fine tuning to get right, is it possible that this adjustment can be added to the in car camera position menu for each view independently?

Look forward to your comments Kunos guys :)
    Keep up the fantastic work!

    Leif.

    Oh, on an unrelated note:
In the ghostcar.json file there is a value:
    "offsetTimeMS": ....
I wanted to make the ghost car be 2 seconds ahead, so I put in "2000" as it seems to imply miliseconds, but it doesn't seem to change anything. Ghost car is still inside me until I fall behind it, really would love to follow closely my ghost without having to drop some tenths to see the actual ghost, kind of doesn't really help me to learn from my own lines if I have to already mess up the lap before I see my ghost...
I assume this value has maybe not been turned on yet?

I'm glad someone already asked this. I think the camera pitch setting is an important one for many of us.
I have my own hardware dashboard setup, and don't want to see another dash onscreen.
In AC1 I simply shifted the view forward until the dash was out of view, and added some pitch to see the horizon on the lower third of my monitor, so I don't have to look up so much.

I tried to change the "offsetpitch" setting but nothing changed. Maybe it's to be implemented later.
Anyone having success with the settings?
