As much as I want pit stops, I had to pick AWD physics.... if we get Trento you know full well we're gonna need a Suburu.

 

Oh...another poll. As if the game doesn't give us enough already...polls ignore one glaring issue: the AC team has a limited budget. Greed in all forms sickens me .

two screens so I can run the apps and map on the side screen and not mess up the main view.
And mouse look.

 

What I miss is a small intro for the race or something other then just sit in the car. For the overall experience it can help to get in the right mood then click in the menu and *FUPP* sitting in the car "Now race!".
Some small cameradrive at the track a few views from above, the camera filming the whole grid, either with the usuall sounds at a race and/or some music, that all just in a few seconds to bring in the racemood or racemode.
Now its rather surreal like getting on the grid in Tron.

 

That would be boring after 2 races and annoying.

 

If this was in the game without the ability to turn it off, I wouldn't play this sim. it's annoying and unnecessary. also, there are way more important things than this

Sims are a completly different case, granted, but I stopped to waste my time with games that dont manage to create a decent atmosphere.
So at least for me this is an important point.

 

gongrats, you just explained what a forum is about. sharing opinions.

I agree that rage is a big part of the racing atmosphere, but I don't think this is the way to implement that feeling

 

I voted other. As I see no need to worry as Team Kunos will create what we want and then the modders will come up with things we did not know we wanted.

 

Too arcade for me, put me in the car on the grid with a PROPER set of lights and I am good to go.


I just hate those fake countdown lights we have at the moment. Nasty!

 

Have you read anything to do with what AC is? Just asking not flaming.

Im no expert in this and dont know what would be the best to integrate it. But you seem to understand what I was on. Anyway, Im aware of the list of priorities and dont want to argue against it, but what I generaly hoping for one day, would be a sim, that not only replicates the physics from reality but the whole event of motorsport. Especially my visit on the 24h on the Nordschleife opened my eyes for this, much more then seeing a race on TV.
On one side its the pitstops, where many important persons do their bit for the success, besides the driver. And an animated crew that gives you a feel of being on a team.
Then the folks doing their job around the track and the fans, of course.
Like good characters in a action-game people let me connect with the game and immersed to a point, where I forgot more and more that Im just playing a game.

Anyway: I understand that many dont care for that or that they even see that as an annoyance, cause it doesnt give them anything.
But I still think a little comprosie like previously posted can help to get a feel. I was just writing about a few seconds after all.
And like characters you empathise with sound and music can connect you emotionaly.

Anyway, its more of a Singleplayer-thing and would be more useful in the career of Forza, while there will be no real career in AC, in MP you afterall have people you can connect with.

Good menu-music could do the job a bit, so I maybe simply put some music on as long as im in the menu and the race starts (like the soundtrack of GTR2).

 

gta5 map to freely drive in Assetto corsa, now that would b awesome hehe

Also some snowy locations would b cool.
