1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Really? Doesn't feel like it, at least. (Or I'm so adjusted to driving there that I don't notice anymore.)

  2. I am fairly certain that it was confirmed as having multiple grip levels, but they aren't so drastic that the difference in feel 'jumps out at you'.

its the different types of surface that have different grip level isnt it? not actually dynamic grip across the same surface?

I'm loving the pack. A real nice mix of cars. The moby dick is a blast :) It's also great to have another GT4. I am looking forward to knowing the optimum tyre PSI as race essentials is not updated yet...

Just great. Two words. And I'm not even a Porsche fanboy lol.

I only drove a few cars for a few minutes this morning after having downloaded the pack. I didn't know the release was yesterday so that was a good morning.

718S which is a car I wanted irl but went for a bavarian again. Great handling pretty fast(streettyres)
Then 991S (I'm not an Elfer addict except for Ruf CTR, racers like the old RSR, 964RS, GT3/RS/GT2/GT4 stuff) but because of the B6 sound I 'd choose that one vs 718S.

I drove the grandpa RSR a few minutes, icon, need to tweak the setup.
Moby Dick: Even at 100% turboboost rather driveable, no scary situations. Tailhappy tankslapping because of fat reartyres:)

But GT4 CS is just AWESOME. I'm a BIG fan of the street GT4 , a driftday friend of mine has one. But this is a total gokart! I adore it!

    Thanks Kunos!

    Cheers
    Robin

@slopps :Nice driving, but the screen/look is not so steady(understatement) , also you are shimmying the steeringwheel a lot on the straights, giving me a bit of a headache sorry.
Michael Hornbuckle had a few videos of 3.0 RSR and AI, that's way better for my eyes...

What I repeatedly noticed in several of the Porsches is what awesome brakes they have for cars of their class and speed, and how well-behaved their braking behaviour is. Sportcars as fast, of other brands, often lack in brakes considerably.

And the 911 RSR 3.0 - reminds me of the Yellowbird, as if somebody took the RUF and had a serious word with it and taught it some better manners. :D

Yes, the brakes are phenomenal on the street cars, except for the 918, that one seems severely "under-braked" for the sheer speed it can gather. It's the only car that I find tricky from this pack, I'll stick to my trusty P1, it doesn't hold a candle to it performance-wise imho.

The Panamera is great.I'm still trying to figure out what is going on with the performance of the Porsche's, they drive better than the lap times would suggest.I can't believe a 911 Carrera S with all the options is on the same pace as a BMW M4, the base 991.2 manual with almost no performance options is faster than the M2 and M4 in some instrumented tests, same thing with the Cayman S, might need lots of research though...but at first glance, it might seem like the suspension is a bit weird.

Nice driving in the YouTube video @Michael Hornbuckle. If they could just fix that very beginning of the race, so you can shoot right past 10+ cars... I know on some combos that doesn't happen, especially with fewer cars, of course. What happened to the oak tree?

That's actually a pretty good way of describing it.

Honestly, I don't give a f*** about that, if it did had just a little less than 2000kg, it would beat the crap out of the Carrera S. That AWD is awesome! You just want to push it and push it, and you don't need to fight with that tail, which always want to spin :)
I did the tests last night on Nurburgring Sprint,
    Panamera - 1.42.202
    Carrera S - 1.42.080
Its a very impressive time for a 2000kg sedan =) All thanks to AWD.
So yeah, this car is better for me then those two :p

@Diablo_rf You mean "Sedan" not "SUV"

Hey...You and I have similar interests in AC vehicles. What do you think of the street cars in PP1?

    @Berry
I don't know how you are getting the 911 Carrera S to have the same pace as M4
    My laptimes
    BMW M4 -1.45.847 (1.6)
    911 Carrera S - 1.42.080 (1.9)

Just maybe if something changed with the tyre model, but I doubt in more then 3 secounds =)

  17. I have only driven the 917/30 and 935/78 so far, but I will get to the road cars very soon :)

It's between the M4 and the Corvette Stingray on the Nordschleife, which definitely shouldn't be the case, it should easily keep up with the Stingray.

Berry, Cayman/911 are basically 'real' sportscars as designed , M2/M4 are more compromised 4 seat sporty cars derived from bread and butter 2 and 4 series so to speak (and as you probably already know). Just like the Panamera is a big fat pig powersaloon(which we got for free thank you Kunos lol) and not a sportscar at all, just like M5/C63/E63. ;)

    Edit, example:
    Panamera Turbo S 550BHP 1995kg Hockenheim Short 1:12,3
    BMW M2 370BHP 1495kg Hockenheim Short 1:12,2

    :p

    Cheers
