1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi guys ...

    Just lately I am getting more and more missed gears when using AC , its mainly going into 3rd and 5th I get a false neutral ! , so I have to go back into neutral , wait a second then try again !!
    I have tried blowing out any dust etc inside but it looks as clean as a whistle and is not that old anyway
    Anyone else having this problem on occasion ?

    I emailed Fanatec and they seem to think its to do with AC , as the problem doesn`t seem to be there when in the shifter properties page and selecting gears ..

    I had lots of missed shifts when using the usb adapter but get none when going direct to my wheel, unrelated the usb adapter would prevent my pc from booting if left plugged in and another thing you can check is if the wires connecting the pcb in the shifter to the plug at the back have been damaged as the glue had let go on mine and the wires got pinched in lever and one was completely cut so I had to solder it back together.

    Yes also I have to unplug the adapter everytime or the pc wont boot (has read somewhere that is a problem only with asus motherboards ), the adapter have also another problem the cable from the shifter dont do well contact with the adapter so has used a piece of tape to keep it in position in the adapter and doing so had never problems of missed shifts, I must use the adapter because have a g27

    It is so far superior to my old TH8RS it's not even a competition, in both modes it really adds that tactile feeling to the experience. Love it and can't wait to get my new motors in for my CSR Elite..those combined may be what I've been after since the beginning.

    I think I am going to order the shifter on the 15th...they are in stock now and almost guaranteed to be out of stock when I have money. LOL
    I had planned to wait until I had a proper cockpit instead of desk but I think using the table clamp I can make something work.

    I did have bigger issues just after I bought the usb adaptor from fanatec and had to send the shifter and the adaptor back for testing , it turned out to be the adaptor and was changed for a new new , but I`m getting the problem back again ...
    But at least you guys have pointed me into the right direction ( the adaptor ) ! , so I`ll have a closer look at that today for any looseness on the connection etc ..

    I had the same problem missing shifts mostly 4th to 5th tightened the nuts which hold the HAL sensor about 4 weeks ago not had a problem since.

    happy with mine,
    hoping if it do have issues, at least i know to take it apart, tighten everything and blow it out.
    With the USB adapter I do have booting issues with an ASUS mobo though, it just kind of hangs for a minute or so before it moves on..

    Interesting that boot hang thing. I know if I have my Clubsport wheel switched on it will sit there and do nothing at bios until I turn it off.
