Race already in progress

Lately I noticed almost all online races are already in progress so there is nothing to join.
I have never even be able to race with Ferrari SF-15T for example.
Also sometimes it appears that there are no cars available while server is not full.

These issues I do not have with the PC version.
Will this be solved?

 

That will all change when the custom/private lobbies are added to the console versions. Do not expect anything to change before that, it would not be worth their time or effort.

Otherwise it is just bad luck with the timing. Sometimes I run into the same issue. If you join your own room and start to practice, people will often join. Otherwise go do a few laps in a car to practice or do a short sprint race against the AI (3-4 laps) then check again.

 

I have noticed this a lot too lately. Also, sure would be nice to see more lobbies for dlc cars.. just sayin.

Thats not a solution, it's a game what you buy and I have no doubt they will fix it.
But its an issue thats their attention worth.

 

I am just telling you how it is...

There are more requests for private / custom lobbies than anything else. That is one of their highest priorities, and since they are working on that, they are not going to modify the current way, it takes man power away from working on the higher priority items.

There is in fact no issue with "Race Already in Progress" .. the race is already in progress what do you want? It to stop the race and let you into the room and make everyone else in the room start over? - The way it used to work is it did not display the rooms that were already racing on the list.. now it shows them so you know there are people online in a room racing and you can wait until their race is over. It was actually requested to be changed to work this way.

There are plenty of rooms at the bottom of the list with no people in them (at least in my region) like lots and lots of empty rooms. This is what I am saying join your own room and let people join you.
