1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Thanks, found it, will try. Strange that the windows search function did not find it. It still does not.

Funktioniert! Prima! Thanks a lot, even the stupid brackets around the gear-number are gone. This is how it should be, its plain, and simple. One number, no eye catching gimmick that sends you into the trees.

Why is this described in no manual that gets delivered in updated form as a txt of pdf in a documents folder, with every update package or DLC? Together with all the other many tiny bits and pieces of sometimes necessary, sometimes valuable info?

Is it possible to activate the RevLights on the Base within the fanatec.ini ?

No, you need the SLImax software for that. Links was given in an earlier post on page 1.

The fanatec.ini tweak prevents the LED number display from cycling through speed and gear, I only wnated gears displayed, and thats what I got now.

Download that tool, and launch it before you launch AC. It should recognise your hardware and game automatically.

By default it cycles through many more information on the number LED displays, you can switch these all off in the tool's menu somewhere, leave only one entry enabled, "gear". You then need to attach that fanatec.ini tweak as well to indeed get just gears, else AC will send gears and speed in turns to the interface.

V2.5 user here. I can clearly feel the difference between Porsche rim and Formula rim and that difference is caused by the higher mass of the former and probably a bigger portion of it located on the outside as it is a full round wheel compared to square-shaped Formula one which has most of its weight in the center. I reckon BMW rim would be much worse. The difference is not in the stalling torque which is about the same as I run Porsche with FF=100 and Formula with FF=80, but in the way the wheel reacts to sudden change of forces. And that's not a subjective feel as numbers from RFRWheelTest confirm much lower acceleration with a heavier rim:

So christmas is later this year for me cause the order of the BMW rim arrived last friday.

Sooo, i have to say yes, it has more weight! And i also have to increase the FFB to have the same forces as with the PS4 rim. But the motor has enough power to supply good FFB. But overall it makes more fun to drive with the BMW as with the4 PS4 rim.
